"Hey Maddie, what's up?" Codie asks, as she glances from her friend to Tiffany, curiously.
Madison starts to answer Codie, but Tiffany cuts her off, "Excuse me? Who do you think you are? Interrupting me like that! How rude!" she glares at Codie, who glances at Madison.
"Tiffany, she didn't mean to interrupt you, so please don't yell at my friend like that. Now if you're done being angry, I'd like to introduce you to her." Madison says, in her serious but casual tone.
"Fine." Tiffany says, still looking a little upset.
Madison motions for Codie to come closer and she does, Madison turns to Tiffany and says, "Tiffany, this is my best friend, Codie, she's also a freshman. We've known each other since grade school and are really close," turning to Codie, she continues, "Codie, this is Tiffany, a sophomore I met this morning; she and her friend, Stacy, are showing me around."
"Nice to meet you." Tiffany and Codie both say to each other.
Stacy politely nods to Codie, while she and Tiffany whisper to each other, again.
"So, wasn't there something you wanted to tell me?" Madison asks.
"Oh, actually we decided we are going to wait on that, but we'll talk to you later. The bell is about to ring for first period and you girls don't want to be late on your first day, trust me." Tiffany says, as she and Stacy wave and walk off.
Madison and Codie wave back, then look at their class schedules.
"What do you have first, Codie?"
"Biology, you?"
"Math."
The bell rings and Codie and Madison go their separate ways, waving and saying they'll meet up after first period.
At lunch time, Codie and Madison get their lunches and look around anxiously for a place to sit. Then, Madison spots Tiffany and Tiffany sees her and waves her over to their table, which already has a lot of people at it. Madison and Codie walk over and Stacy smiles at them, sweetly, but Tiffany has an annoyed look on her face because Codie is here, too. Tiffany pulls Madison away from the table to talk to her.
"What's up?" Madison asks.
"Well, you're little friend there isn't welcome here, she's kind of weird." Tiffany says, rudely.
"How dare you talk about Codie like that!! She's my best friend and I think you should get to know her better and maybe you'll like her, too." Madison is outraged at Tiffany.
Tiffany gives her a look but says, "Fine, I'll try to get to know her; let's go back and I'll introduce you to everyone else."
"Okay, sounds good, thanks so much." Madison says, as they walk back over to the table.
Codie and Stacy are eating, chatting, and laughing, Tiffany clears her throat as she walks up to get everyone's attention. Immediately, everyone looks up at her and stops what they're doing.
"Okay, everyone, this is Codie and Madison, they are new freshmen this year. Please make them feel welcome." Tiffany points to Madison and Codie, as she says this.
"Hi, everyone, I'm Madison and I'm so excited to be here and I can't wait to get to know you all." Madison says, as she flashes a peace sign.
"Hello, I'm Codie and I'm excited, too. I-" Codie gets cut off by Tiffany, "Let's introduce everyone now."
Madison glares at Tiffany but she ignores her and continues, she points at a blond haired guy, and says, "This is Austin, he's one of the most popular guys here. He is also one of the smartest but coolest guys you'll ever know." Tiffany says, as he winks at her. Madison and Codie wave to Austin, as he waves back at them.
"Okay, moving on now, that's Luke." Tiffany says, pointing at another guy, who waves a little shyly, but smiles at the girls. Madison and Codie smile and wave back at Luke.
"Next is Seth, he's very new to our group and is also a freshman like you two." Tiffany says, as she points at a young boy with brown hair and green eyes, who acts very shy. However, he does wave at the girls once he sees them waving at him.
"Finally, we are to the girls; the guys always complain if we don't introduce them first." Tiffany says, as she rolls her eyes at them and they grin at her. "Anyway, this is Emma, she's a sophomore and loves pink, as you can see." Tiffany points at a pink-haired girl, who's busy texting and taking selfies on her phone and just casually waves and says "what's up" without even looking up from her phone. Madison and Codie wave at her, as they continue eating lunch.
"Last, but certainly not least, this is Mekaila, she's the newest lady, just like Seth is the newest guy." Tiffany says and points at a black-haired and green-eyed girl.
"What's up, girls? Welcome to the popular gro-" Mekaila starts, but Tiffany cuts her off, "They aren't in the group yet! Plus, you don't do the welcoming, I do, you newbie!" She kicks Mekaila's chair and it moves across the floor, since Mekaila is pretty skinny.
"Sorry, geesh, chill out, girl. I just though-" Tiffany, once again, cuts her off, "Oh, no you didn't just tell me to chill! No! No! I won't have this in my club!" by now, the whole cafeteria is starring at their table and a couple teachers have some concerned looks and start to go over to the table. Stacy stands up and talks to Tiffany in a calming voice and Tiffany sits down. Immediately, Stacy gives her a shoulder and back rub to help more with the calming down.
Tiffany has calmed down, but she looks Mekaila in the eye and says, in a serious tone, "You have one more chance. No more back-talking me, do you understand?"
Mekaila nods her head and goes back to eating, so does everyone else in the group and most of the students in the cafeteria. The teachers have arrived at the table and ask, "Is there something going on over here?"
"No, we're good now, thank-you very much." Stacy says, as she continues to massage Tiffany.
"Okay, good." The teachers say and walk away.
