Clementine jumps up in Codie's bed and starts licking her face, waking her and causing her to giggle, "stop." She jolts up suddenly, not realizing where she is at first, but then realizes she's in her bed. The last thing she remembers is being with Parker. Clem licks her hand and Codie pets her, yawning. She gets out of bed, showers, gets dressed, brushes her teeth, does her hair, and heads downstairs. Clementine is right at her heels, but Buddy is nowhere to be seen.

"Buddy!" Codie calls and whistles for him. She listens, but doesn't even hear his collar jingle.

Just then, Chris appears at the top of the stairs, smiling at her. "Have you seen Buddy?" She asks him, but he says no.

Codie keeps calling for Buddy, she heads into the living room and then the kitchen. Both her parents are sitting at the table, her mom on her laptop and her dad reading the newspaper. They both look at her and say good morning.

"Have you guys seen Buddy?" She blurts out, without even saying anything else.

They both exchange a look with each other, sighing. Chris enters the kitchen and wraps his arm around his sister's shoulders.

"What? What's wrong?" Codie says, worried.

"Well sweetheart, you fell asleep on the couch yesterday while watching the movie with Parker, and we were all so busy...." Her mom trailed off.

"Where's Buddy?!?" Codie is starting to get upset and Chris gives her a hug, but she pulls away, looking at her parents.

"Since we were so busy, we didn't notice he was missing until late last night. We are thinking he must've gotten out of the house and run away." Her dad tells her.

"What?!? We have to go find him!" Codie says, putting her shoes on.

"Wow, slow down there, sweetie, you haven't even had breakfast yet." Her mom says.

"I don't care, I have to find him. What if he gets hit by a car?!?" Codie heads to the front door.

Steve and Laura exchange a look, "alright, but Chris is going with you."

"Of course he is." Codie smiles at her brother, who has just put his shoes on too.

"Be careful! Keep us updated where you're at!" Their mom calls after them.

"We will, see ya!" Chris calls, as they head out the door and get in his truck.

"Flower seems to be doing better." Mekaila's aunt says, as they enter the kitchen.

Flower is standing up in her box, trying to get out of it. Mekaila lifts her out of the box, while her aunt puts up the baby gate across the kitchen entryway, and then Mekaila puts her on the ground. She starts heating up some more goat's milk and baby formula, getting it ready. Once ready, she puts it in a bottle and gives it to Flower, who takes it right away.

"She's getting stronger already!" Mekaila says, smiling at her.

"Yes, she definitely is." Her aunt smiles at her.

Just then, Flower's back leg gives out from under her and she falls down. She tries to get back up, but can't. Mekaila carefully lifts her up and puts her back in the box, wrapping the blanket around her.

"Oh dear, I forgot about her leg." Mekaila says, frowning.

"Yeah, I looked at it last night and it looks like it might be either a sprain or a fracture. I'm going to call Dr. Morrison right away." Her aunt heads to their phone.

"Okay, I'm going to do morning chores." Mekaila says, putting the bottle in the dishwasher and giving Flower one last pet.

"Arf!" Cowgirl runs along her dog run, excited to see Mekaila.

"Good morning, my silly girl! Wanna help me with me chores?" She heads over to the dog run, has Cowgirl sit, and then opens the gate and lets her out. She zooms out, running towards the barn, barking at the chickens and ducks outside. Mekaila just smiles and laughs at her.

Mekaila gets the chicken and duck food, first, and tosses it over the fence to them. Next, she checks their water and fills it up and then heads into the coop to check for eggs, grabbing the egg bucket on her way. She grabs both chicken and duck eggs and puts them into the bucket. She goes over to the back porch and sets the egg bucket down. Cowgirl races up to her, with her favorite squeaky toy, a squeaky chicken, squeaking it like crazy. She hands it to Mekaila, who grabs it and throws it as far as she can. Cowgirl runs after it, leaving a trail of dust behind her. Mekaila heads to their big cow pen, unlocking and opening the gate, allowing the cows to have access to the big pasture. She then grabs a couple bales of hay and tosses them over the fence into the pen. Then, she heads into the barn to take care of the horses. She grabs their feed buckets and fills them with their oats and grain. She places each bucket in each horse's stall, and they start eating while she goes to get their hay. Her aunt and her have four horses; a grayish whitish mare named Starlight, who's Mekaila's, a young black colt with a white stripe down his forehead, named Colbolt, who's also Mekaila's, a brown Arabian named Thunder, who's her aunt's, and a big, brown and white Clydesdale, named Bluebelle, who's also her aunt's. Mekaila grabs hay for each horse, tossing it into their stalls. She then double checks to make sure all the stall doors are closed and locked tightly.

"Woof!" Cowgirl appears in the barn's doorway, and goes down into a play bow, wanting Mekaila to chase her.

"Hold on, girl. I'm almost done." Mekaila says, opening a container and scooping some cat food with a cup.

She scoops it into a bowl, then repeats with three other bowls. Then, she opens up a couple cans of Friskies cat food and puts a can in each bowl. Last, she fills up the cats' water bowls. They have eight barn cats, who mainly stay in the barn, but also hang around the house at times.

"Woof!"

"Alright, I'm going to get you!"

Cowgirl runs away, and Mekaila takes off after her, as fast as she can.

"Hey, thanks for letting me stay the night." Seth says, fist bumping Dakota.

"No problem, bro."

"Well, I better go. See ya." Seth gets on his skateboard.

"See ya, dude!" Dakota calls after him.

When Seth arrives home, he sees that both his parents vehicles are gone and he sighs. He goes inside and makes himself a snack and turns on the T.V. He watches T.V. for a little while, then heads to his bedroom, deciding to clean up his skateboard. He got it pretty dirty at the park yesterday and has to make sure it stays looking nice. He then decides to head to the grocery store, to get some food, and leaves.

At the store, he runs into Parker, "hey, what's up?"

"Oh, hey bro, what's up?" Seth asks, as they bro hug and fist bump.

"Not much, doing some shopping for my mom. What about you?" Parker asks.

"Pretty much the same." Seth lies, as he's only there to get some snacks and drinks for himself.

"Cool."

"Yeah, anything new?"

"Actually, yes, Codie will be back at school tomorrow." Parker smiles.

"Oh, that's great! I'm glad she's doing better, man." Seth gives him a smirk.

"Thanks, so am I."

"Well, gotta go. Catch ya later."

"See ya, bro."
