Chapter Two

Anthony (POV)

I came out to see who was at our door at this early in the morning. Or late at night, depending on how you look at it.

A girl had collapsed on our front entrance and Ian was standing there, not sure what to do.

"Should we take her to the couch?" I asked.

"SHHHH!" Ian shut me up, "Look outside!".

I pulled down the front curtain and saw a group of people looking outside.

I heard them say something like, "She is not here, move on" and then the group moved on.

I pulled back the curtain again and looked at the girl, and then back at Ian.

"We should put her on the couch." I told Ian.

I helped him lift the poor girl onto the couch and got a pillow and blanket. I set up a little bed for her and laid her back down. She stayed in a deep slumber.

I went back into the computer room and uploaded the finished video, letting Ian look after her. I logged off and went into the living room to check on the girl. I found Ian saying that he would stay with her tonight.

"Just to be sure that she's ok.." He said. I nodded and left the room. I went off to my room and went to sleep. Or at least I tried to.

Ian (POV)

I thought that it would be best to stay with her the night, just in case. I found myself making a make-shift bed beside the couch. She made a mumbling sound and her hand fell down to where my bed was. Her hand were shaking, she was frightened. I started at her for a few seconds and then reached my hand up to hers, slowly placing my hand in her trembling one.

She held on tight. She had soft hands, and they felt so perfect inside mine. I laid down in my bed, still holding onto my hand, and we fell asleep like that. Even though we were compleat strangers, it didn't matter in that moment. Hand in hand, intertwined with each other. Safe.

Yes, I know it's short. But the other chapters will be longer (I hope)

Also I am pre-writing a lot of this story so it's mostly stuff tag I've already written but I don't feel like uploading and editing...lol I'm kinda lazy
