Alex takes me to this fancy restaurant for dinner. We eat our food and talk about everything.
"So you can become human?" he says placing his hand on his mouth. "Not like human.. human. I still have an eternal life, and i can't procreate.."
"You can't have kids?" he says frustrated, "well I can't but I still get to spend the rest of my life with you," I move up from my seat and kiss him. "We're gonna go to that path, and get mom back," I smile and place my hand on his face, "and I'm still gonna love you."
"I love you too hailey," he says placing his hand on mine, "and did I tell you how beautiful you look tonight?"
"Maybe once or twice," I say and take a bite of the food, "I have another surprise for you," he smirks, "after dinner, I'm taking you somewhere."
"Hmm.."
"You'll know when the time comes," he says, "for now let's enjoy our official first date," he says raising his cup of beer in the air, "to our love."
One hour later:
"Cmon where are we going?" I said trying to push his hands off my eyes. "Are we there yet?" I groaned.
"Just a little bit more," he said taking my hand, "we're almost there."
"I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy this next place," I squealed excitedly. "Trust me you will." A few seconds later, he finally takes his hand off. Instead of us going back home, he stops at a fancy hotel. I look at him not quite believing what's going on.
"You didn't." I say looking up, and then back at Alex. "Oh I did," he smirks. "Thank you so-" I turn around to look at him, but he's not there. "Alex!" I call out.
"Shit, Alex where are you?!" I shouted, "seriously! it's no time for jokes," I huffed furiously. I went back up, and talked to my dad as quick as I can.
I went into the palace, and stormed my way through but found guards all the way around the door. "Excuse me princess, but the king has an important meeting at the moment," the official says.
"No, i have to go in, Shaw you don't understand I-"
"If I could take you in there, believe me I would. But this is a very important meeting, and I cannot let you interrupt it."
"I'm sorry but I have to," I shoved myself in between the guards standing, and went in as quick as I can.
"Dad! Alex he's gone, have you seen him?!" He gestured for me to step aside, and I took his hand. "I was with him, and I turned around and he was just gone."
"Oh no," he put a hand through his hair, looking nervous. "what's that look?!" I exclaimed, "is there something I should know?" I crossed my arms, and waited for a reply.
"Are you gonna say something?!" I cried, "anything?"
"Michael, he wasn't supposed to be here-"
"Who on earth is Michael?!" I gazed up at him. "Michael was your mother's best friend.. and ever since she died, he blamed Alex for that," he explained with fear in his eyes, "and he left town ever since she left, but said he'd be back one day.." I cut him off knowing where this is going to lead to, "so he has Alex!!" I exclaimed, "no please tell me that's not true," I tucked a strand of my curly hair behind my ear furiously. I stepped out the door almost leaving, "Hailey come back here, you are not leaving without me."
