As she walked forward, she could smell the fear that'd been haunting the inhabitants of the castle noticing the drops of blood staining the cold, extremely detailed floor.

"How are you alive?"

A dreaded voice croaked from behind, a deep voice. A voice that sounds like music to her ears. She furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, recalling what he said. "How am I alive?" She asked, a puzzled look occurring on her face. "How are YOU alive?"

Alex took a step forward, gently tracing the bottom of her lip with his finger. He smiled, a small trickle of laughter leaving his lips as he slowly bent toward her, his eyes flickering down to her lips.

"Hailey." He whispered into her ear. His voice was suddenly stern. "I'd like you to kiss me now."

Her eyes drifted to meet his. He stared at her with passion, the kind of passion that she's never seen him give her before.

"B-but I can't." She shook her head. "I-I mean, I can't, um.. touch you."

"Don't play dumb with me kitty."

She could feel the noise in her head, the noise around them. She loved the way he kissed, like he was still hungry for love, even though he was dead. Heat roared through her whole body, and for one second she felt as though he were alive right next to her.

She knew this was a dream. Nothing more, nothing less.

She put one hand on the back of his head, and he pulled away. "Both hands, please." She laughed against his lips, sliding a hand through his hair roughly.

After that, the noise in her head quieted. She kissed him again, more slowly this time. His warm blue eyes looked right into hers. He tuck a strand of loose curls behind her ear, and wrapped an arm around her waist, whispering into her ear softly..

"There will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears. And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears. Get over your hill and see what you find there, with grace in your heart and flowers in your hair."

Her eyes flicked open suddenly. The ceiling was bright. Everything was bright and alarming and new. She couldn't remember feeling so alive. She wanted to run outside and scream and tell everyone how much power she could feel. Her mother's powers, the powers that have been controlling her every move since the beginning. Also the same powers that caused her to go through incredible amounts of pain, but still.

And now.

It's time.

It's time to face the path, time to face the fear and the love. Time to sacrifice herself to get the powers of her mother. She knew it was time to bring her mother back to life.

Since the beginning, her eyes held the deepest secrets. Secrets within a galaxy of charm and love. The secrets that lay silent beneath her guardian angel. Secrets and secrets.

And now.. It's time.

It's time to face it all. Time to face herself. Time to face the choice she feared to say out loud. She feared it because she had no choice. Because she was in love with a badass, a chaotic blonde guy that just seemed to randomly stumble across Hailey Evans herself and cause her to be driven madly insane. That guy was Michael Carson. He gave her a love that consumed her, a love she never knew would end up being the death of her.
