We sat there and just talked, it was so easy. We genuinely had a good time. Something pulled me into him, I wanted to know more about him, his life, his family. But I couldn't help but wonder why his face felt so familiar, yet how his touch is the most real thing I've ever felt. These train of thoughts, seemed to take over my mind while I was talking to him. He gazed intently into my eyes, as my eyes swept over to him.

The waiter slides a napkin onto the table. Once it's right in front of me, he lifts his hand off the table and places a plate full of spaghetti in the middle of the table. "Hmhm," michael clears his throat. I drop my gaze towards the napkin and giggle as I pick it up. "What u thinking about princess?" He smirks as he twirls the fork around the spaghetti. "Pfft, nothing." I waved him off and pulled in my chair towards the table. "Yea right," he chuckles.

"Soo, Michael," I say taking a sip of my lemonade, "tell me about you." He smiled and put his fork down on the table, "what do you want to know?"

"Tell me about your family, about ur life you know."

His eyes mist over to the window for a few seconds, "well," he finally said, "my family.. left me. Because they thought I was a disgrace to them, since i changed after your mom, died."

"You? A disgrace?" I laughed, "they must be out of their minds." I looked into his blazing blue eyes, he never told me this before. "They weakened my powers, till I would literally be in pain whenever I wanted my wings to appear." The look on his face reflected deep sadness. "Why did they think you were a disgrace?" I huffed, "I just don't get that."

"When someone you love so much dies in your arms, you change." Michael explained, "and man do I wish that change is good. I became mean, and reckless. I wanted revenge."

"Revenge?" He looked up at me and smiled, "yes, revenge. And not because it's Alex's fault that she died, but because he always finds a way to ruin the things I love."

"He's never going to ruin us," I promised taking ahold of his hand.

"But he did ruin us. I was the one who registered in school just to see you, but he somehow managed to get me kicked out and he stole your heart. And you didn't even know he's an angel, or that he's your stepbrother." I stared intently at his seemingly illuminated face, eyes a blazing cool blue. "There was a war going on, we were both in love with you," he continued. "He killed my sister in front of my eyes Hailey," he whispered as his eyes clouded with melancholy.

"And ever since he did that, I left town. And I left him to you, trusting the fact that he's gonna take care of u. Until I heard about you getting ur mother's powers, and I knew by word what his plan was gonna be." I furrow my eyebrows in confusion looking up at Michael. "What plan?"

"He knew that you had to pick between him and your dad, so he got close to you so you'll have a hard time deciding."

I felt tears forming in my eyes, each word sounding pitchier than the next, as the words bottled up inside of me came to burst open. I felt my throat becoming tighter as tears began trickling down my face. "I-I can't believe it," I panted through short breaths, "all that, was a lie."

Michael looked up at me suddenly and gasped as he saw tears on my face. "I'm so sorry Hailey," he got up from his seat and hugged me, "come on let's go." He kept his arms around me, my hands laced around his waist, breathing in into his soft leather jacket, as he left the bill on the table.

That night after dinner, we went for a walk. "The moon's so beautiful tonight," he says taking my hand, "almost as beautiful as you are." I looked up at him and smiled, "I couldn't thank you enough for everything that you did for me," I tighten my hand around his, "what if I change things up a bit?" I say as we turn the corner almost reaching the house. "What if," I continue moving to stand in front of him, "I just told you that Alex has no chance of getting the girl this time?"

Michael's face turned to look at me, his face turning into a bright illuminating shade of color. "Hailey-"

"No, let me do the talking." I said tightening my grip on his hand, "after I say this, there's no turning back, and I know im gonna have regrets about some things later on," I added, "but I will never regret saying this." I smiled and put my hand on his face, "if I'm gonna feel guilty about something I'm gonna feel guilty about this." I pulled myself into him, placing my hands around his waist as i slowly pulled him towards me. His hand met the side of my cheek, slowly urging his lips against mine. He softly grinned against my lips, which made me want to kiss him even more.

The kiss was hard, yet soft. It was fiery, yet extremely passionate. It was filled with love. Our love. The kind of love that filled me with hope, a love that consumes me. A love that controlled my every emotion, and every word. "Michael," I breathed out heavily, "I-I love you."

The blonde haired boy stared right into my eyes, making me fall in love with him every waking moment. "Hailey, I always loved you," he smiled, a small trickle of laughter left his mouth as I pressed my lips against his knowing how much that would drive him crazy, "I think I never stopped," he whispered into my ear as I parted my lips ever so slightly, to glance up into his ocean blue eyes.

All the feelings came rushing in like a hurricane, and next thing I knew I was head over heels in love with him. He drew our bodies in closer, and pulled me in towards him in a split second, leaving me dazzled as he leaned down and captured my lips in a kiss. We danced our way up the front door neither one of us daring to break the hot makeout session that was going on. He flew open the door with his extremely muscular hands, and kicked it back as he picked me up the stairs in his arms.

"Babe," I smirked looking up to him as he carried me, "so we're doing the babe thing now huh?"

"Yep," I say leaning up to give him a quick kiss. "Thank you for telling me about Alex, I should've known all that from the beginning."

•• Michael's P.O.V••

I put her down and cupped her face in my hands, "I love you hailey," I murmured, "and it's because I love you that I told you that, because you deserve to know."

I took off my jacket, and placed it on the bed.

I curled a strand of hair behind her ear, and stared into her beautiful hazel eyes, "I want you to just, focus on something that makes you happy."

"What do you think I'm doing now?" I smiled as our lips met, moving in perfect sync, as our tongues fought their way through.

My hands skimming down her waist, I unzipped her dress, and came to pull it off of her. Her eyes widened, "are you sure?" she whispered as her breath hitched. I pulled down her dress, and laid her down on the bed, leaning in to kiss her again, "does this answer ur question?" Her lips trailed down to my neck, as she unbuttoned my shirt. "God I love you," she says throwing it onto the floor.

My lips move down leaving a trail of feather light kisses down her shoulders, as her hands move down to my waist laying me down beside her. "Your so beautiful," I smile as I stroke her perfectly curled hair. "Look who's talking blondie."

I laugh as she slides a hand down my chest. "I love that laugh," she smiles, "I love you."

"I love you too," I smile as she rests her head on my shoulder. "Good night Hailey."

We lay in bed for several minutes, which felt like hours. Neither one of us could sleep, all I could hear was her heartbeat. Her head lay rested on my chest, arms laced around my waist, the fairytale we were living in was coming to an end.

"M-Michael," she stuttered.

"I made a decision."
