I stood in my room, staring at my reflection in the mirror. I smiled shortly, admiring the pleasant view in front of me. My golden brown curls cascaded down my shoulders, leaving a perfect view of my face.

My dad owned a few houses here, and I was staying in this house until I went back to my kingdom.

I made my way downstairs, and headed out the door after locking it, only to be greeted by a voice I know all too well.

"Seriously Alex?" I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, and rolled my eyes at him.

"Bad morning?" He asked mischievously, staring at me with a smirk on his face.

I rolled my eyes, "something like that."

He clapped his hands together, "Alright, so where are we going for our first date?"

"Did you talk to him?" He asked solemnly.

"You seem worried about that," I thought, "is there something wrong?"

He shook his head repeatedly, "No, no. Not a problem."

He gulped.

I knew he was trying to lie, but he can't lie to me, it's impossible.

I looked into my dad's nervous eyes, eyeing him suspiciously.

He sighed.

"Did you happen to notice anything.. unusual about him?" he asked, shifting his gaze onto the floor below him.

I smiled, but it came out forced.

"Not much," I shrugged. "Honestly, I think I've met him before, and he seems like a nice guy."

He rolled his eyes. "Honey, you're talking about an angel of darkness here."

"First of all," I replied angrily. "You know I don't believe in that stuff. And second, why did you send me to look for him?" I breathed out, sighing, "I mean why me?"

An uncomfortable silence took over the room, as we stood there staring at each other nervously.

"Dad," I repeated, raising my voice slightly. "Why did you send me to look for-"
