I had worked hard in school;
I had distinguished scholar since fourth grade!
I wasn't a trouble maker...
It was for nothing!
I was respectful
When teachers weren't to me.
I listened as others spoke,
And even laughed when I was supposed to.
All for nothing!
I watched when
I need to most of all.
I was and am a good girl;
I gave advice;
And saved a life.
Just to lose
An 11 year dream in an instant.
All for Nothing!!
I looked at him
As he said because of his past
My dream broken as much as my heart.
I was furious!
All my work for nothing!
I love my family
As much as I can be happy...
But because of their past
Destroying my long dream was in shatters.
All for nothing!
ALL OF IT...
FOR NOTHING!!
This is one of my experiences and I still don't understand why me but... Dreams are pushed on and on... Loopholes in fate... My grandmother used to say "Fate is set in stone and in the stars yet destiny is what you chose it to be, the two collide as one because they represent the good and bad... Black and white and dark and light. Without one you will never have the other"
God I miss her going on three years this November..
Her words will stick with me though...
