Each of us is different and there are no two alike.
Yet we are able to judge another based on their difference because we believe we are so "normal".
In all truth, that is not the truth.
The truth is it comes down to ourselves. We judge because we believe we have to because everyone else is or we judge because we feel judged.
You can walk around being perfect in society eyes or even school but inside we are all somewhat broken and flawed.
We tend to push our insecurities on others because it is easier than them knowing.
We push people to view ourselves the way we want to be portrayed.
Sometimes we are too shy or too bold but either way that is just who we are.
The sooner people accept who they are the sooner people have a chance of being a person worth talking too.
We can look at people any way we wish with or without regard to how they feel.
We say we are kind of nice... But why can't we say we are great.
We call ourselves nice because we help people pick up their papers or books.
Would we stop for someone crying at a loss? Would we be there to listen to a complete stranger?
Most of us wouldn't and that's the saddest truth. You may say to yourself that of course, you would stop but I dare you to act on your words. Would you really?
There is hesitation and uneasiness and awkwardness. There are people who brave it and accept that a person needs some shoulder and an ear to listen.
Have humans just become so filled with self-interest that talking and helping is such a huge concept?
I dare you, do something to help someone without thinking what you could get out of it. Also, help all the time, not when it's convenient.
