Hey 'Chic Queens'!

Today, I've got a new way to style your hair. Do you find that your hairstyle is bland or 'too' common for your taste? Wanna mix it up? Is your everyday hairstyle too..."everyday"?

Then, this new and trendy look is perfect for you! Plus it's as quick to do as most of your traditional hairstyles!

Just follow these simple steps to get a quick and cute everyday hairstyle!

1. Brush through the whole of your hair using your hair brush to eliminate any tangles before we begin.

2.Take your styling comb and section the hair from above the top of your ear and follow around to the other side to create a straight parting around the head. Tie the bottom section of hair with a hair band to keep out of the way as we'll come back to styling this a little later.

3.Using your styling comb, backcomb the top section of your own hair (not the part to be turned into a bow!), beginning from the back and moving forward ensuring you spritz each backcombed section with hairspray and leave to dry to ensure maximum volume.

4.Use a thin hair band, and on the last loop of your ponytail (when you would have nearly finished) Do not bring all of the hair through.Leave about 2 inches of hair still in the hair band, so you will have a kind of funny looking bun/loop. Pull the end section to the front of your head, so the 2 inches of ends are lying flat across your head and you could possibly see them if you looked up.

5. Now, this is where it gets really fun; gently separate the loop of hair in the ponytail straight down the middle and into two sections. Using your index finger, slide in between the loop to create a space for you to insert some bobby pins where they will be hidden. It may be worth criss-crossing the bobby pins for maximum hold; be sure to be extra careful when doing this. Repeat this step on the other side.

6.So you should be left with two loops either side of the base of your ponytail, with the end sections of the hair still lying flat across your head. You now need to pull this section back over the base of the ponytail and in between the two loops. Secure and tuck away the ends using a bobby pin. And there's your hair bow done!!

7. Return back to the bottom section of your hair, which you tied back with a hair band, take the hair band out and brush through.

8. Now just spray it with your favorite hairspray to ensure hold.

You're done! Looking at this list of instructions, it may seem harder than it really is. But it's actually quite easy. And with practice you will learn to do this style at a faster pace.

Stay classy, 'chic queens'!

See you! (Poppy)
