"Go tell your idol you love them, because today, I lost mine."

July 13th, a day started with this simple phrase, a day every gleek will remember, every Cory Monteith fan will remember, because in that day, they lost their idol.

On May 11, 1982, earth was graced with a little angel. Cory Allan Michael Monteith was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and raised in Vicotria, British Columbia, Canada.

Cory had a hard child hood, but was successful in acting and singing nonetheless. Cory was known for his famous role, Finn Hudson, a lead star on Glee. He was engaged to the beautiful Leah Michele, who's also a lead star on Glee.

On July 13th 2013, the world had to say goodbye to the Canadian boy, Monteith was found dead in his hotel room.

The girl who was supposed to wear white, wore black. The wedding that was supposed to happen after two weeks of Monteith's death, turned into a funeral.

Monteith's death affected all fandoms, even the people who don't watch Glee or never knew of Cory. It was a wake up call to everyone to realize that whoever your idol is, they could be gone in seconds.

We miss the tall, awkward, Canadian, actor, drummer, person.

We miss you Cory.

The cute couple Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik are officially engaged!

Perrie Louise Edwards was born in South Shields, England on July 10, 1993, to parents Debra Duffy and Alexandre Edwards. Edwards grew up in Northern england and auditioned as a solo singer on The X Factor UK in 2011, when she was 17 years old. She then was put into a girl group, named Little Mix, with Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall, who became the first group to win The X Factor.

Zain Javadd Malik was born in Bradford UK on January 12 1993, to parents Yaser and Tricia Malik. Malik grew up in East Bowling, and auditioned as a solo singer on The X Factor. He then was put into a boy group, One Direction, with Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Harry Styles, who came out 3rd on the seventh series of The X Factor.

The young couple met on the set of The X Factor, in the early 2012 and started datind ever since. Many rumors stood in their ways, but the couple did not break up.

Zayn Malik has comfirmed and tweeted about his engagememt to the beautiful Perrie Edwards, saying, "Never been more happy in my life! Thank you to everyone that has been so lovely about my engagement to my beautiful fiancé! Big love z X."

While Perrie's mum had already confirmed the news of her daughter's engagement, Zayn has been the first of the couple to respond, "It's cool, it's really cool, we're happy."

We're really happy for you Zayn and Perrie, and we can't wait till we hear the wedding bells!
