Shizuka followed quietly behind Lord Sesshomaru, her gaze remaining glued to the sky above. The sky with its lovely baby blue hues and it's fluffy clouds seeming to mock Shizuka. Mocking the quiet maiden as she silently prayed to the skies above. She prayed that the moon would once again bestow upon her it's heavenly blessings. Shizuka sought it's divine protection more than anything. She despised the fact that she continued to remain powerless. Powerless. It was s funny thought, a month ago she had no idea she had such talents laying dormant within her. Yet here she stood completely dependent on her barrier power. She did not want to seem weak and hold Lord Sesshomaru back, and she would not allow herself to be a burden. That was a promise. As the two quietly walked through lush greenery,Shizuka soon saw a fairly large village in the distance.

The village itself was tucked away, hidden within the forest area of a nearby mountain. From what she could tell the village appeared very prosperous. With many large huts for its denizens to take shelter. Multiple shops lined the main road of the village where it's people happily sampled their wares. It was a wonderful sight to behold. Last time Shizuka had witnessed such happiness it was the village she had lived in. A village which now no longer stood. Yet before the two stepped any further towards the village Shizuka felt her knees becoming weak.

She was nervous, nervous about something. But what? Already she could feel her entire body trembling as she had the overwhelming sensation that she was falling. But she knew that she was standing on solid ground. She could feel the wind whipping her hair about. Shizuka closed her eyes as she could feel herself screaming for dear life as she felt her body plummeting towards the earth below. Shizuka extended her hands towards the heavens above almost as if she was expecting someone to grab her hand and pull her to safety. But there was no such luck.

No one was going to rescue her,and when that reality hit her she couldn't help but to shed tears. What did she do to deserve this? What had she done wrong? Slowly her vision was overcome by darkness,as Shizuka felt her body being gently shaken. She released a light grumble as a familiar and concerned voice called out to her. "Shizuka? Shizuka?"The voice called out beckoning her to open her eyes.

Grudgingly she agreed before slowly opening her eyes to meet the entrancing gold eyes of Sesshomaru. The Dog demon released a sigh of relief as he watched Shizuka come to her senses. She carefully began to stand only to be swept up into the arms of Sesshomaru who forbid her from taking another step. "You started screaming, are you alright?"Sesshomaru asked the woman before him. She struggled with her words, she wanted to tell him the overwhelming sense of dejavu which had occurred.

But would he believe her? Would he believe her if she told him that she believed she had fallen from the sky? Shizuka bit her bottom lip, choosing to hold back her words before whispering she was alright. But she knew he didn't believe her. Already Sesshomaru could tell that she was lying to him,but he didn't want to pressure her. So he chose to leave it at that. Before long the two had finally made it to the village in the mountains. As soon as the villagers caught a glimpse of Shizuka the entire population bowed their heads before her.

Mumbling prayers to the gods above. Thanking them for gracing them with her presence. But why? Why did they bow the moment they saw Shizuka? Nervously she pried herself from Sesshomaru's arms and asked an elderly man who appeared to be the village head why they chose to bow to her. The man peered towards Shizuka in disbelief. Did she not know? Did she not know how important she was? Not just to this village but to the world itself. "My Lady,do you not remember?"The man asked in shock as Shizuka shook her head.

She swore up and down she had never layed eyes on this village before today. And especially this man,she had never seen him before. Yet the way he reacted when she told him she did not recognize him stirred something within her. What did this man know and what were her ties to this village? "My Lady it has been 5 years since you graced us with your divine presence. You are our Savior. And Savior of this world. You are a Celestial Maiden."The man spoke, his words utterly surprisibgly Lord Sesshomaru. From the moment he laid eyes on Shizuka he knew she was different but he was not expecting this.

A Celestial Maiden. She was a Goddess but not just any goddess one that was rumored to hail from the moon itself. Shizuka stood in utter shock at the village heads words. She wanted proof she simply could not believe she was some sort of Goddess. "Please My Lady,if you would allow us to show you. Then perhaps you will remember."The man stated,if what he said was true then Shizuka had to know. Who she truly was,and what her purpose was. And perhaps this was where she was destined to be.
