The night was still, with the gentle whistle of the wind outside. Tossing the leaves of the trees in a brief breeze. Giving the human village quite a peaceful look about it. With the light of the full moon looming overhead many of the villagers retired to their beds. Seeking sleep knowinf the next day would be another task yet a fruitful one that many were willing to bear. As their lives were infact quite peaceful. Under the protection of Priestess Kaede whom had protected them for many long years. Along with quite an interesting group of yokai whom infact protected the village. Especially recently. Now under the protection of Sesshomaru himself. Which meant it would not be too long before the Daiyokai revealed himself in aid of his daughter.
Sighing lightly the Dragoness remained one of the few in the village refusing sleep. Her dark amber orbs glowing dimly in the darkness of the hut. Yet even if there were darkness around them the Dragoness's gaze was forever fixated on her new charge. The desire to remain by Hisuri's side tugging at the loyalty which was in the very blood which courses through the Dragoness's veins. A burning desire that beckoned her to Hisuri's aid despite the dangers, the distance. It was the moment the Dragoness caught a glimpse of those luminescent orbs of hers. Eyes that held such purity, such knowledge it made The Dragoness's knees go weak. For the woman whom stood before her radiating with pure power was a vision to the Dragoness. Never in her life had she met someone who's strength far out rivaled her own.
The Dragoness had the up most respect for Hisuri. For not many would dare to stand toe to toe with a Dragon God and live and tell the tale. And yet she did. Peering back towards the peaceful sleeping form of Hisuri. The Dragoness couldn't help but to smile warmly towards her. Feeling for the first time since her father had left this world a purpose. And it was to live and die for Hisuri. Closing her eyes briefly The Dragoness decided to get abit of shut eye herself. Although the sudden shift in the wind, shook he4 awake.
The Dragoness slowly rising to her feet, her long flowing black and red kimono falling at her feet. Draping around the lovely Dragoness as she walked towards the doorway. Once again sensing a nearby presence. The scent of dog lingered in the air along with something else as the appearance of a white haired man startled the Dragoness. The man wore an all red yukata all the while on his right side he held a sheathe for his weapon. Sniffing the air again the Dragoness rerealized the scent of dog was also drenched in human. Which told her one thing. This intruder was a hanyou.
The hanyou bared his fangs as he stepped from the shadows of the village. Revealing a pair of white dog ears on his head, a tell all when it came to what kind of yokai this half demon was. A Dog Demon. A lower being compared to the Dragoness, the intruder would fall before her if a battle ensued. The intruder sniffed the air an irritated expression evident on his face. "Who are you? And why the hell do i smell Sesshomaru and Naraku all over you?" The hanyou spat anger filling his tone as the Dragoness twirled a lock of her snow white hair between her fingertips. Not bothered by the appearance of the hanyou. Already able to sense that he himself held a feeble aura. His true power only lie within that sheathed blade of his. Which oozed with nultiple vast demonic auras. Each fighting with one another to be released into the world.
"I dont know this Naraku you speak or. Nor of this Sesshomaru. But I will ask you to step back hanyou." The Dragoness warned her words sharp as a serpant as she stood before the closed doorway. Hiding the sleeping Hisuri from view. Growing irritated with her answer the red garbed hanyou stepped forward. Fangs and claws bared viciously towards The Dragoness. "Liar! I can smell them both on you! Your working for them!" He shouted clearly not believing rhe Dragoness whom rolled her eyes.
Standing her ground before the angry hanyou, her bare feet gripping onto the very soil herself. All the while the Dragoness herself hunched her body forward slightly onto the ground. Her arms in front od her body all the while remaining fairly low to the ground prepared to retaliate. "I will say this again Hanyou. I do not know these people. Do not make this difficult." The Dragoness warned her voice shrewd and to the point which only seemed to enrage the hanyou even more.
"Your dead!" The Hanyou shouted, jumping high into the air before striking at the Dragoness from above. And to this the Dragoness caught her attacker's arm in mid strike, using his weight against him. The Dragoness shifted her own balance before throwing the hanyou over her shoulder. Her sudden speed shocking the hanyou who's amber eyes widened as the Dragoness merely smirked. She was not done yet. Still in mid air the Dragoness bound into the air beside the hanyou, elbowing the intruder in the side with such force it sent the man flying.
His body tumbling quite a distance away from the Dragoness. Skidding to a stop using his own claws the Hanyou growled before drawing his blade as the once rusty blade soon was overtaken in a brief yellow glow. Before growing in size into a fairly large fang for the blade itself. The many auras twisting around the blade like an endless windstorm causing some concern for The Dragoness. That was no ordinary yokai blade. "Lets see if you can handle this!" The Hanyou declared proudly as he charged towards the Dragoness with his new blade in tow. All the while the Dragoness stood her ground, hoping to disarm the hanyou.
And yet her concentration was interrupted by the sudden appearance of Hisuri herself. Whom suddenly materialized before The Dragoness's very eyes in a flash of light. Her appearence throwing off the hanyou as he ceased his attack. The tip of his blade mere centimeters from scathing Hisuri's cheek. Hisuri glared towards the Hanyou, her deep emerald orbs radiating with power. Power that made the Hanyou nervous and even more sure that she was dangerous and so was the Dragoness. "I dont knos who you are, but dont touch her." Hisuri stated her words oozing with authority and raw power that made her shiver.
"My lady I can handle this heathen. You should be resting." The Dragoness began as she took her place by Hisuri's side. Placing a protective arm in front of Hisuri. And yet the Hanyou could not shake her gaze. The woman before him seemed just so familiar. " I'm fine, and don't call me that its weird." Hisuri mumbled in embarrassment as the Dragoness chuckled almost half heartedly apologizing to Hisuri for her actions. "I'm feeling a lot better now." Hisuri reassured the Dragoness as she walked pass her protective arm. Her gaze never leaving the intruder.
"I will take him out quickly." Hisuri informed both The Dragoness and intruder as she stood before the hanyou. His hand gripping onto his blade tightly as he prepared to strike the woman before him. The aura drapping her chilling the hanyou to the core. Unable to decipher exactly what she was. Or more of what she was. But no being zhe have that much power within them. Hisuri smirked taunting the hanyou with a brief yawn before drawing one of her trusty slim katana slowly from its sheathe.
"Lets go doggie."Hisuri mocked with a grin.
