War Room Meeting,Suspicion of a Yokai

Many days had passed since Shizuka was made the Lady of the House,in Sesshomaru's home. And since then everything had gone rather smoothly. Shizuka continued to live in the villa,and with the help of Rin was allowed to explore the entire household. Revealing the lavishly decorated rooms. And she loved it. Truly Shizuka felt as if she really belonged here. She felt loved. Nothing but utter love. Usually Shizuka would find herself in Sesshomaru's private study assisting him with his paperwork. Dealing with peace treaties as such. And during these quiet moment the two would casually brush their hands against one another. Making Shizuka's heart pound loudly in her chest. She loved these moments,and she craved these moments more than anything. She wanted to be with him. But today she was unable to.

According to Master Jaken there was going to be an important meeting today. Involving Sesshomaru's faithful generals and to show to them that he was still the all powerful demon they served. Shizuka was asked to stay out of sight. For if they even gazed upon her and realized a Celestial being was staying near their master and he did not tend to devour her. Then he would be showing weakness,and that would not end well. And grudgingly Shizuka agreed,even though it hurt her to be away from Sesshomaru even for a moment. She accepted it.

Shizuka would hide her Celestial aura from others,and would remain in her room with Rin. She knew Rin would keep her company,just as she always did. At this moment Shizuka sat on her fairly large canopy bed,watching as little Rin sat on the floor playing with her toys while giggling. But Shizuka's mind was elsewhere. She wanted to be with him. She wanted to be by Sesshomaru's side. She enjoyed being by Sesshomaru's side. But Shizuka knew she couldn't,for it would put Sesshomaru's life in grave danger. So for now Shizuka would push her feelings aside.

And would remain in her room. Shizuka released a heavy sigh which caused Rin to climb upon the bed,and ask Shizuka. The person she now looked up to as mother,what was wrong. Shizuka couldn't help but to bring Rin into a warm embrace before whispering she was alright. But Rin didn't buy it,she knew Shizuka was hurting. And she knew how to fix it. Rin released herself from Shizuka's arms before running to the door. Utterly confusing Shizuka. "I'm going to demand Lord Sesshomaru see you! Your so sad without him."Rin declared.

Immediately Shizuka rose to her feet advising the young child against it. "Rin please come back please. We're not supposed to bother him."Shizuka informed the young child who ignored her words and dashed out of the room to Shizuka's dismay. "Rin!"Shizuka exclaimed as she herself began to run out of the room,after the little girl. But she stopped herself. What if she encountered one of the Generals? If she were discovered she knew horrible things could happen. Biting her bottom lip. She had to go after her. No matter the risk.

Closing her eyes Shizuka felt her body began to tremble with power. So much power infact she felt as if she was about to explode. Concentrating on using this extraordinary power for good,Shizuka opened her eyes to see the young Rin running through the vast hallways. Pass many servants who never dared stop the child. Afraid of speaking out to her,knowing all too well if they did so it would incur Sesshomaru's wrath. But that wouldn't stop Shizuka. Opening her eyes once again Shizuka found herself running at the room. Dashing through the halls,her long flowing starless hair blowing around her. And her robes billowing around her,flowing her every move.

She knew she couldn't be out today,especially with the villa swarming with powerful yokai. So Shizuka would have to change her image and she did. Immediately Shizuka felt the air around her ripple with power before the power crawled up her skin. She released a light gasp feeling her once long black hair decrease in length greatly. Becoming a more manageable shoulder length. Her once lovely azure eyes became a dull brown and her once expensive kimono became ones of raggs belonging to that of a servant. And that was exactly what Shizuka wanted.

Blending in with the villas servants and hiding her divine aura. Shizuka made her way through the villa coming across Rin who was now standing outside the War Room. A room filled with strong yokai who would not hesitate to devour a little girl. "Rin!"Shizuka called out grabbing the attention of Rin who peered towards her in utter confusion. "Shizuka?"She asked in a confused manner as Shizuka nodded ushering the young girl to her. But it was too late. The double doors belonging to the war room opened revealing 4 yokai.

Each had long flowing white hair similar to Sesshomaru's and piercing gold eyes. Eyes that seemed to be glued to the young Rin and especially Shizuka. There was one demon who's eyes seemed to swallow Shizuka. He felt that there was something off about Shizuka. Something about get just seemed otherworldly. Shizuka bowed before the generals before beginning to usher Rin away from them. "Woman,who are you to this human?"The yokai asked referring to Rin who seemed to cling to Shizuka's leg for dear life. "I am the caretaker of Lady Rin,my Lord."She murmured,but Shizuka knew the yokai's eyes were on her.

And if it wasn't for Sesshomaru his gaze would have remained. Eying the now suddenly changed Shizuka,Sesshomaru led his Generals out of the villa. But as the generals left one by one. A single general remained,his gaze turned towards Shizuka who continued to remain in her servant guise. Deciding it was time the yokai took his leave but he just couldn't shake the fact that there was something different about her. Something that attracted him. More and more.
