Kagome wept tears for the fallen Sesshomaru;the mighty Dog Demon of the Western Lands. His grip still upon his blessed weapon, the divine blade Akumosai. A katana crafted by the heavens themselves, able to strike down even the toughest of foes. With all of his strength Sesshomaru placed the weapon in the hands of his son. Souma. Who sobbed before his father, unable to stop his tears. Tears which streamed upon the blade before a vibrant glimmer made itself known. One of a bright silver as of the flames of Shizuka. Seeing this, Souma gripped onto Akumosai. Sensing the immense divine aura within the blade. A power that only he himself could call upon. It echoed within the young lad, tears gleaming down his cheeks. Bid him to hold it. To place his trust upon it. A blade crafted by his Grandmother; Lady Shouko. A blade that was used to protect their family in the hands of his father; and now perhaps it was his turn. With trembling hands Souma clasped onto the gleaming blade, allowing an aura of silver flames to coil around him. The air sizzling with divine energy to which only Souma and Hisuri could wield. They were special. And now all would know how truly special they were. Newfound confidence swelled within Souma's chest. It did not know it's origin. But it was there. Burning brilliantly. Igniting potential within Souma of which he could never imagine.

With "Akumosai" in his hands, Souma held the blade close. The swirling of demonic and divine energy visible to all. Inuyasha stood perhaps the most in awe of them all. His golden eyes reflecting the dazzling flames before him. Flames which shot up towards the dark sky above, illuminating it with it's brilliance. It was then that Inuyasha saw it. The visage of a dragon created entirely of silver flames. The dragon circled Souma and soon Sesshomaru himself. Never once releasing "Akumosai" Souma held the katana overhead. The Dragon releasing a anguish filled bellow from within. It's roar causing all to cover their ears in fright. Though it was soon that all witnessed a change overcome Souma. For with his hand held high the silver flames seemed to devour his old form, replacing it with a vision. For Kagome had never seen anything like it. So bright, mighty and we'll controlled.

Souma's long flowing raven locks soon lost their hue, dying to that of utter white. Mimicking that of snow, however it was his eye color that caused all to stare in disbelief. As instead of his normal amber eyes now in their place was a brilliant translucent hue. One almost that of a rainbow. For Kagome could swear hues of red, blue and even orange lived in the eyes of Souma now. His eyes held a calmness upon them, even as his gaze landed upon his father. Without a single word Souma knelt before his father. Akumosai giving off it's eternal radiance, answered the will of it's user. With his left hand upon his father's heart, Souma would not allow his family to fall apart. Souma felt for his father's soul, no matter how faint it was. He knew the body was that of an empty vessel. Yet still Souma dove deeper into the darkness, searching in the darkness for Sesshomaru.

It took sometime but Souma found the spark that was his father and reached out to it. Holding the strong yet fragile soul that belonged to the Daiyokai. Who seemed that in death he seemed to be a battle. Refusing to leave the "Realm of Man". His home. Souma held onto his father sharing his own life with his father. The divine energy pouring into the once empty body of Sesshomaru. Inuyasha watched the sight wide eyed as Sesshomaru's body was overcome by a silver divine aura. For even his eyes were the same silvery hue. With his body rippling with power; Sesshomaru soared through the air. His mighty claws destroying the footing of Kanna, sending her to the ground. But she was not his concern. No it was his daughter; Hisuri. Darting into the glass covered room, his body still alight with energy. Shizuka gazed upon her husband her voice caught in her throat as she whispered her beloved's name. Unsure of what had overcome her husband, though she was afraid. Afraid of the unknown. However it was not just Sesshomaru who had entered the chamber in a flash. No for beside Sesshomaru was none other than his son; Souma. Who held Akumosai out towards Naraku, a snarl ever upon Souma's face. He barked lowly as Souma reached for the fallen form of Hisuri. Naraku would pay for this. He swore it.

Naraku gazed upon the two yokai, not seeming terrified. But that didn't matter to Sesshomaru nor Souma. For they would show Naraku the form of true terror. Slowly the glow from Sesshomaru's body faded to that but a mere memory. Leaving the Daiyokai with enough power to destroy all who oppose him. He whispered a thank you to his son. Knowing all too well that it was because of his son that he still lived. And now together they could protect their family. Sesshomaru turned to his mate, Shizuka's emerald eyes shedding tears of both relief and joy. Color had returned to her cheeks, and she appeared to be more of her strong willed self. Sesshomaru couldn't help but to smile to himself, especially as with a loud crash through another window. Inuyasha and his gang arrived. Kagome already prepared an arrow especially for Naraku. Miroku as well was more than happy to protect the lovely Shizuka with his Wind Tunnel. All were prepared to put their lives on the line. For those who had aided them. Inuyasha snarled as he landed to the left of his brother. His blade held out before him. Sesshomaru eyed his little brother, silently nodding in thanks. It was then that Inuyasha smirked with excitement. He couldnt hide it. He was looking forward to fighting with his brother for a change. Naraku however seemed to have become quite nervous as he cursed under his breath. "Where is Shinimi?!" His voice rough almost erratic even. He was....scared? Inuyasha smirked become commenting "I don't think she's coming to help ya. Your all alone Naraku!" He spat as Naraku hissed, his miasma seeping into the air. "Maybe so-but you will all die with me!" He spat.
