Chapter 7- Princess Wars

Emerald’s POV

“favorite color?” Dani asked. The girls have been asking me questions whilst the boys just sat back and watched.

“Green. Emerald green to be exact.” I grinned. “Nice choice of colour.” Eleanor winked.

“So any crushes?” Perrie asked. “What crushes?! No, no to crushes. No crushes until she reaches the age of twenty or thirty.” Zayn said. The other boys agreed and I just groaned.

Perrie ignored them and asked the question again. “So do you?” Danielle asked.

“There’s this boy in school-“They squealed and the three of them gathered around me, pushing Liam and Louis out of the way.

“What boy?!” Harry said. “Nothing.” I said quickly.
“We’ll continue this conversation later.” Eleanor whispered.

The guy I was going to tell them about was Dylan. He talked to me again after lunch and we really hit it off.  

“I swear I-“Louis started that Eleanor clamped a hand over his mouth. “Just drop it Lou.” She said before she unclamped him and gave him a peck on the lips.

Cute!

“But really, you are too young to have a crush.” Liam said seriously. “Really now?” Danielle said quizzically. “Um yes really.” Liam said.

I rolled my eyes at them and stood up. “Well I’m going back to my room; I need to finish my homework.” I said. “Okay, I’ll call you down when dinner’s ready.” Louis said.

I murmured an okay and calmly walked to my room. I only had one homework, since I finished my other one when it was library time.

I opened up my Math book and sighed. The teacher gave us a page full of Algebra equations, now normally, a kid my age would whine about how hard this is, but I’m actually gifted in Math and Algebra is one of my best.

I finished half of it quickly, I was about to do question number 30 when I threw a glance at the laptop. I haven’t touched or used it yet. Maybe I will after I’m done.

I finished my homework, double checked it and smiled proudly. It only took me an hour which is great.

I put my things in my bag and placed my bag near my door so I could just grab it when I go to school tomorrow.

I breathed deeply and placed the laptop on my bed. It was white with little beads decorating it. It looks like it were crystals of different colors.

I opened it up and pushed the power button. I’ve never touched a laptop before so this is all new to me.

I decided to bring my laptop downstairs where I was hoping they could teach me the basics.

Hey Ems, what’s the problem?” Louis asked. “Um.” I plopped down next to Niall who was watching the telly.

“Um can you guys teach me how to use this?” I asked sheepishly. “Of course!” Niall happily said.

They all spent telling me the basics and going over what I could do in the internet.

“Do you think she’s too young to have twitter?” Danielle asked. “Twitter?” I echoed.

“Twitter is this social networking site that well um, Liam please show her.” She said. “May I?” He gestured to my laptop. I nodded and gave him my laptop. I stood up to give Liam a place to sit, he smiled gratefully and started to type in something from the address bar.
