I take my bags out to the car and slip my boots on and get in the car myself.

Sophie's POV:

The drive to the airport is quiet as I stare out my window at the town I've grown up in, for the last time ever. We drive past the school where I see the boys standing around talking, except Michael...he's not with them. But I didn't expect him to be after the bombshell I dropped on him last night. A few minutes later will pull up at the airport, my foster mum that has been looking after me for the past few months helps me get my bags out with giving me a tight hug.

"Good luck Sophie...I decided to get you a farewell gift since you were such a good addition to our family even if it was only for a short time. If you ever need someone to talk to I'm happy to listen."

"Listen? But how Japan is such a long way away."

She hands me an IPhone 6.

"My number is in it, and that friend...Michael...that you've had coming over, put his number and his friends numbers in it too. I can't have you not having any connection with Australia...this was your home for such a long time."

"Thank you so much."

I give her another tight hug, as I start to tear up again.

"You'd better get going before you miss your flight."

"Thank you for everything!"

I grab my bags and walk towards the airport doors, before going inside I turn around and wave back at her as she drives off. Part of me is expecting to turn around and see Michael standing near my gate to see me off but I don't want to get my hopes up for it, because it will be even harder to get on the plane if he is. I go to the baggage check-in and show them my ticket and get my suitcase weighed and taken on board. From there I go to my gate and have to get my carry-ons checked for bombs or drugs. Once through I take a seat near the actually gate for my plane, there is still 20minutes until I leave. I decide to take my new phone out of my backpack and search through it. There isn't any music or money on it so I can't listen to music. I then realise she didn't give me a charger with it so I go to buy one but remember that the power points will be different in Japan so I go back to my seat.

Boarding for flight 20JD08 to Japan is now open!

I stand up and make my way to the doors. I hand the flight attendant my ticket and make my way to my seat which is towards the back of the plane. I sit in the window seat but then a guy...a little like the one from my dream last night - more fit than Mike with lots of muscles, dark hair, deep brown eyes and tan skin - looks at me from the aisle.

"Excuse me, but my ticket says that that's meant to be my seat."

"Oh ok, I really want the window seat though, would you mind sitting there?"

"Umm...you don't get in trouble for sitting in the wrong seat do you?"

"I don't think so, if so I'll take the blame...it's ok."

"Alright then."

He sits down and puts on his seatbelt.

"So I feel like this is going to be a long flight so I feel like we should get to know each other. I'm Anthony, what's your name?"

"I'm Sophie."

Hello this is your captain, we will be taking off soon. Ensure that you keep your seatbelts on until the light flashes.

"Hey Sophie, I hate the take off. Would you mind holding my hand just until we're in the air."

I want to say no, the only guys hand I've ever held is Mike's. I look at the guy...I feel like he's not too much older than me so I nod and take his hand in mine. He smiles at me, so u smile back. Once the plane is steady in the sky he squeezes my hands and tries to let go but I look down at our hands and leave them together. I feel sleep slowly taking over my body as my eyes flutter shut.

I see Michael standing at my door, but it's not this house or my old one. It's new looking and different in many ways. He looks awkward and scared of my reaction. I go to hug him tight but someone grabs my hand from behind me. I turn and see that it's a man, more fit than Mike with lots of muscles, dark hair, deep brown eyes and tan skin...honestly he looked a bit like Calum. Then he pulled me close and slammed the door in Michael's face. I slapped him with my free hand and tried to get to Mike but he was too strong for me. He pushed me to the couch and laid me down, he then started striping me and himself quickly.

I wake myself up abruptly, pulling my hand from Anthony's. I stand up squeeze past him walking down the aisle to the bathroom. I lean on the sink and stare at myself in the mirror. What is up with this reoccurring nightmare? I need to know...who is this guy and why does he want to do that to me? Do people see me as a slut or something? I dress more conspicuous than every other girl I've met...why do I get this treatment? So many questions burning in my brain...I realise that I have to go back to my seat so I wash my hands thoroughly and dry them before walking back. He looks up at me sweetly as I take my original seat.

"Are you alright? Did you have a nightmare or something?"

He reaches for my hand again but I move it away. I shake my head and look down at my lap.

"I guess I just miss my home and friends."

"You miss it now, but trust me Japan is an amazing place. I came for my first trip a few years ago with my family but now that I'm almost 17 I'm going to stay with a host family until I'm old enough to get my own place here. I couldn't imagine staying in Australia after seeing how great Japan is."

"I hope I'm going to feel the same way. I'm moving here to stay with my new foster family, I've been through a lot at home and moving countries was apparently the best option for me so that's what I'm doing."

"I'm sure you'll love it once you get used to it."

Please ensure your seatbelts are fastened as we are preparing to land.

We both redo our seatbelts and Anthony looks at me so I look at him. We stare into each other's eyes for a few minutes before I see him moving closer to me. I pull back and look out of the window at the view of Tokyo.
