I walk out of the house and out to my car, I can't be around them any longer. And I need to talk to Calum, he can't say bad things to the love of my life and get away with it. He's tearing us apart, and I don't even know what he said. I drive directly to Calum's house.

Michael's POV:

I knock on Calum's door and wait for him to answer. The door opens to reveal a very happy Mali, I put on a fake smile so as not to be rude.

"Hey Mike, how's it going? Cal didn't say you were joining us tonight."

"I'm going...fine, and it was a last minute decision...more like a surprise actually. Can I come in?"

"Oh, yeah sure."

She steps aside and we walk into the living room where I see Calum lounging in his boxers, watching the paused TV screen. He looks over at us as we enter the room.

"Oh, hey buddy!"

"Hey Calum. We need to talk, in private...could you give us a minute, Mali?"

"Umm...sure."

I watch as she walks out and down the hall. I sit on the couch beside him, turn to face him and he can tell this is serious so he sits up and faces me as well.

"So cut the crap, Hood. I know you've been telling Sophie shit; like lies and blaming her for my bad choices and mental problems. You know damn well she's the only thing keeping me sane, you know better than anyone that I'm in love with her and she's the best thing that's ever happened to me. So why are you trying to ruin it?"

"I haven't been lying, you told me she hurt you and that she's causing you to self-harm. I just thought it'd be best if she knew what she was doing so she wouldn't dare do it again."

"I never said that! She's made choices I didn't agree with, but that's because I cut myself out of her life. Nothing I've done can be solely blamed on her."

"No, but she's most of the reason. And she was the reason that you were depressed for the whole tour, and in high school...all those times you gave up and skipped band practice and our sleepovers because she 'needed' you. We haven't had a proper conversation as brothers since before you started crushing on her. Actually no, that's not true. The last time you treated me like I meant anything to you was the day she after she got hit by a car. After that day I became invisible to you. She tore us apart, bro."

"She didn't tear us apart, we will always be brothers, Cal."

"Are you sure, cos I haven't heard you say anything like that to me since grade 10. You treat me well but that's all a show for the cameras, after the cameras went away you disappeared to your own place and wouldn't say a word to me or any of the boys. That is, unless you were going to complain about Sophie."

"I was heartbroken, I broke up with the only girl I could see myself with."

"Yeah, you cared more about a girl you met in high school that you never expected to see again, than your friends that will always be here for you. I was jealous, she took away my happy, bubbly, enthusiastic Michael and I was devastated. I missed all the times we just messed around together and just played video games for hours without getting interrupted by you crying over a girl."
