I lay in my bed and daydream about how Michael's lips felt on mine, until I fall asleep.

Sophie's POV:

Next day at school:

I have English first up and I didn't get my essay written last night because I was hanging out with Michael. So I expect a detention, I'm just a hoping I can do it at first break rather than after school. I can't let mum down, not after everything she's doing for me.

I walk into Roll call and sit at my usual desk, I haven't seen Michael at school yet. I put my head on my desk and only lift it when I hear my name being called in Michael's voice.

"Sorry I'm late, Sir. I slept through me alarm."

I look up at him and a smile comes across both our faces. He sits down at the desk next to mine and takes my hand in his.

"Good morning, beautiful. Want to know the reason I slept in?"

"What is the reason you slept in Mikey?"

"I didn't get to sleep till very late last night. Know why?"

"No?"

"Because I couldn't get you out of my head. I never can..."

He winks at me and his eyes scan down my body.

"Michael."

"What, baby? You're hot...sexy even..."

"Shut up. We are in a class remember."

"It's true though."

I roll my eyes at him and the bell rings. We both get up and walk towards our classes.

"I hopefully won't be sitting with you at lunch."

"Hopefully?"

"No, it's not how you think. I didn't get my homework essay written, so I'm hoping to do my detention during lunch instead of after school. I don't want my parents to know I didn't do my homework. They'll ask why, and I can't tell them."

"Why not? Why didn't you get your essay written?"

The bell rings and I walk with him to the front of his classroom.

"Because you came over and then I couldn't concentrate after you left. So I went to bed instead."

"Oh...sorry."

"It's okay. It was my fault for inviting you over when I knew I had homework."

"Miss Sugg, late to class two days in a row. Get to class and don't let there be a third. I hope you got your essay written. You have a detention anyway so don't make it a double."

I let go of Mikey's hand and walk to my class, leaving him standing infront of his classroom with his class.

"Sophie, same desk as yesterday!"

I sit at the lone desk near the front and start writing my essay. Trying to get at least a paragraph of it done before he comes around and checks. I only get two sentences done by the time he finishes the roll and comes over to check.
