~Your POV~

Finn wakes up about a week after Rey leaves.

Poe was the one to inform me and Leia. He would sit in his room in the medbay for hours, he fell asleep in there twice, too.

Leia and I entered Finn's room only after 15 minutes of Poe's alert. Finn was sitting upright while Poe sat on the edge of the bed.

"It's good to see that you're up, Finn," Leia says.

"General," Finn responds, "without your medics, I wouldn't have lived. For that, I thank you."

"It was in our best interest to save you," she replies. "You're a fighter. From what Rey told us, you went up against Kylo Ren. Now, I don't know about everyone, but that's what I call bravery."

Finn's eyes light up. "Where is she?"

"You just missed her," I say. "She left to go find the General's brother a week ago."

Finn barely acknowledged my words and he started to get up, but Poe pushed him back down. "Woah, buddy. You still need to rest."

"But, Rey-" Finn starts.

"She took Chewbacca and R2-D2 with her," Leia says. "She has my brother's lightsaber and her staff. Rey's a fighter and you know it, Finn. She'll be fine."

"When will she be back?" Finn's question sounded desperate.

"In six months," Poe responds. I look over at him to see a saddened expression being covered with a small smile. He was definitely hiding something. That, I would find out soon.

Poe and I were excused from Finn's room so Leia could talk to him privately. He walks in front of me in a hurry.

"Poe!" I call out. He hesitantly stops. "Poe, I need to talk to you."

"What?" He asks, turning on his heal to face me.

"What's wrong with you?" I ask. "Aren't you happy Finn's up?"

"I am, (Y/N)," he sighs. "It's just... Complicated."

I nudge his arm a bit. "You know you can tell me anything?"

"I just... I just thought Finn and I had a thing..." He mumbles.

"Oh, is that all you're getting all worked up about?" I smile at him softly. "You two do. Finn's just worried about Rey. You have to remember that the last thing he remembers is that Rey was unconscious. So of course he'd be worried. You would be too if you were him."

"Are you sure?"

"You're asking me if I'm sure?" I laugh. "Me? The one who could look into peoples minds whenever I wanted to?" That finally gets him to smile. "Poe, I could tell you two had a connection a week ago on that tarmac. So yes, I'm sure."

"Thank you, (Y/N)," Poe says. "You're a good friend."

I smile at him. "You're welcome."

Leia called me into her room six months after my conversation with Poe.

Her room was fairly large; larger than mine. It had a nice, four poster bed with tan colored sheets. There was a wardrobe off to the left of the bed, a vanity directly in front of the bed along with a door that obviously lead to the refresher, and a tidied desk off to my right.

Leia stood standing, looking out the only window in the room. She had changed out of her normal General Attire for something more... princess-y. The gown was a light orange with a beaded sash around the waist and long sleeves. Her hair was twisted on top of her head. She looked like she wasn't a General, but a Senator ready for a party.
