~Your POV~

The General was pleased with the news. Only moments ago, Poe left with his squadron to Maz's castle on Takodana.

I listened over the com for his squadron and the other two. His voice dominated it over the others. Poe was a great leader, it was one of the reasons he became a commander at such a young age (even though he's seven years older than me).

I felt something poke my back. I turned to see Tarika smiling up at me. In her hands was a medium sized box.

"Hey, Momma," she says, pushing the box into my hands. "I made you something. Well, actually, Grandmother Leia helped me make it in the last week. But it's for you."

"What is it?" I smile.

"Open it and you'll find out," she responds.

I open the box. Inside is a handmade doll in Jedi robes. Looking at it almost makes me drop it out of horror. The doll had black hair and facial features similar to him. Except the eyes. Those were an amber color.

"Sweetheart, i-it's lovely," I reply. "W-What's the occasion?"

"No reason, Momma," she says, twisting the lavender material of her long-sleeved dress with her right hand. "I just see him in my dreams."

"You see him in your dreams?" There was an edge in my voice I had never heard before. It was a mixture of anger and fear.

"Yeah," she shrugs. "He's usually dressed in all black and has this light-up sticky thingy, but this is what I want him to look like."

"Why do you want him to look like this?"

"Because he looks like a Jedi like this. You know about those legends Grandmother Leia talks about?"

"Of course I do." Except those aren't legends, sweetheart, I think to myself. They're real. "What does he do in your dreams?"

"Oh, nothing really. He just chases after me with that light-up sticky thingy in some dark forest."

"Do the dreams scare you?" I was starting to worry now. What if she knew...? "Am I in the dreams, Tarika?"

"No, except my dream from two nights ago."

"What happened in that dream?"

"You were on the ground sleeping. Your grey shirt was covered in red, too. I was holding a light-up sticky thingy just like the dark haired man's. I found it kinda funny, you know? Like we were twins. Then the dark haired man told me to let you rest. He took my hand and we walked away from you. Then I woke up."

"Why was my shirt red?" It was my blood. It had to be. She was still too young and innocent to even know what blood even looked like.

"I think you spilled juice on it before you went to sleep, Momma," Tarika says with a smile.

I shook my head. This was too much to take in. We practically shared a dream! She just saw the last half. All she probably saw was what happened after she struck me down. It made me want to cry, but I didn't. I couldn't, especially in front of her. I ran my fingers through my (H/C) hair and sighed. "Let's get you back to your lessons, sweetheart."

Hello my lovelies!!!! Another (short) chapter!!!!

I had to get this up for you guys tonight. TFA was bomb af, btw. Noticed Kylo's mannerisms more. I had to for the sake of this fic.

I'm pretty tired. I have to learn German for a song in choir and I have a ton of hw and life and ughhhh. Life. It kills you.

Ik this chapter was short, but bear with me ppl. It was another filler chapter.I liked writing it, though, so that counts.

The next chapter will hopefully be better and it might be out tomorrow. Yeah, hopefully is the keyword.

Anyways, Vote/Comment.

May the Force be with you!!!
