~Your POV~

He was hesitant, but he kissed me back. His arms wrap around my waist to pull me closer to him. My fingers let go of his collar and find their way into his long, dark hair.

When we break away for air, his forehead rests on mine. He pulls me even closer.

"I still care," I whisper.

I look up at him, his dark eyes meet my (E/C) ones. His right hand lets me go to trace my cheek with his thumb. "I've given you so many reasons not to. Why care anymore?"

"You killed my father figure," I say. "You hurt my friends. You destroyed the Jedi."

He tries to pull away from me, "I-I know what I did-"

"These were your choices, Ben," I say, pulling him back to me. I place a hand over his heart. "Only yours. Yet, you still feel the light. Don't fight it, Ben. Embrace it. Embrace me."

"I don't have the strength to do it," he mumbles into my hair.

"Don't doubt yourself," I reply. "You're capable of so much, yet you limit yourself to the Dark Side."

"It's my destiny, (Y/N)," he sighs.

"No," I mumble. "Your destiny waits back at the Resistance base."

Ben's eyebrows knit together. "How is the Resistance General my destiny?"

Well, I wasn't specifically talking about his mother, but he was close.

"I wasn't talking about your mother, Ben," I say.

"Whom then?" He asks, his arms rests on my hips.

"In time you'll know who," I say.

He sighs. In his mind, I see him contemplate whether or not to tell me something. The something he had was disclosed, and I did not press it. If he was going to tell me, he could tell me all on his own.

I feel him slip into my mind. I limit him on a specific area: he's not going to find out about his daughter, not yet at least. He searches around, shifting memories and countless emotions, which I let him. He deserved to know what I thought.

"You still love me?"

"I haven't stopped," I reply honestly. "Even after everything you've done, I still love you."

"You still trust me even though I could hurt you?"

"I know you won't hurt me," I say. "Just look how mad you got when you found out about my scar."

"I have to tell you," he says, pulling away from me. "You have to know."

"I have to know what?"

"What I did to Skywalker's academy."

I look at him. Ben displays emotion filled, dark eyes. Eyes full of hurt and guilt. He drops his head as he sits on his bed. I sit next to him.

"You don't have to tell me-"

"I need to!" Ben yells. He hunched over, his voice low and weak, "You need to know."

"Alright. Tell me."

He takes my hand, only to rub my palm with his thumb. "I trained with Luke Skywalker for five full months. There were a few dozen students- all age varying. Skywalker had me train alone most of time, though. He said it would help me channel my emotions. For the first three weeks it worked, but then it stopped. I became rash, not really caring about anything anymore. A week later, Luke brought in a new Padawon. A little girl, no more that five years old.
