~Your POV~
I couldn't believe my ears.
They were here, right in front of me. I wanted to cry, scream, jump around and hug them all at the same time.
"Mother? Father?" I ask in a whisper. "You-You're here?"
Mother smiles, "We're 25 years late, but yes, sweetheart, we're here."
"How?" My parents both look at each other and nod.
"Come, sit," she says, directing both my father and I to sit at the base of her golden statue. "We'll tell you everything."
"From the beginning?" I ask.
Father nods, "Yes, from the beginning."
"(Y/N), it all starts before the destruction of the first Death Star, before anyone knew who Luke Skywalker was," Mother says. "I was princess born during the last few days of the Galactic Republic, with a loving father and an older brother and sister, for my mother had died after giving birth to me. Everything was fine until we were...visited... by Darth Vader. The Emperor had wanted Bendell's full allegiance to the Empire, so he sent Vader to get it from my father. My father, King Maxonis at the time, did not want to support the Empire or the Rebellion. He wanted peace, and to do that he thought he had to kill Vader. So he, a bunch of his dignitaries, and my older brother and sister devised a plan to do so."
"So he thought killing Darth Vader would bring peace?" My eyes widened at the thought.
Mother nods. "Yes, but it didn't work that way. Vader had found out through the Force of my father's plan, so when he arrived on Bendell, he made sure to kill my father, my brother, my sister, and all of the dignitaries in front of me to show me who really ruled the galaxies. He also took something from me besides my family." She takes off a lone white glove from her left hand that I never noticed before. Behind the glove was a metallic hand, one so vaguely familiar. "He took my hand, and named me Queen Aradelle of Bendell that day. Vader made me promise to be loyal to the Empire, or he'd take something even more valuable than my hand- my life."
"You weren't loyal, were you?" A small smirk played on my lips.
"It was the only promise I ever broke in my life," she continues. "To the Empire, Bendell was a loyal planet, but they didn't know that it's loyalty wasn't to them, but to the Rebellion. After my family's death, I made sure to lead Bendell to peace. And that meant joining the Rebellion. The only way to bring peace to the galaxies was to destroy the Empire, even if it meant war. I had my people contact Princess Leia, telling her that Bendell was joining her band of Rebels."
I nod. "But you haven't answered my question on how I can see you."
"I believe she was just getting to that, (Y/N)," Father insisted.
"I was," Mother smiles.
"Oh," I say, my head hanging down. "I'm sorry."
"It's alright, now where was I?" She bites her bottom lip, but then her eyes light up. "Oh, yes! Well, after Bendell and the Rebellion had a steady trade going, I had a dream. In the dream, I was told to go to a Obi-Wan Kenobi on a planet called Tatooine. So I went. When I got there, I found out he had been expecting me. He told me it was the Force that brought me to him, so he could train me in the ways of the Force. That's how you can see me; because I was trained in the Force, when I died, I became one with it. I wasn't just trained in it, though, Master Kenobi once told me I was born with it. Just like you and your father were."
"You're Force-sensitive, too?" I ask Father.
He only chuckles. "Yes, I am, sweetheart."
"Are you going to tell me why?" I plead.
