31◆Kieras POV

About an hour later, we walked out of the small store, dresses in hand. For the next five days, I did almost nothing but day dream about the awards. It was the first time I had been to an award show like this, so who wouldn't be excited? The days and nights seemed to drag on and on. Suddenly I awakened to the sound of my loud and obnoxious alarm. Springing out of bed, I pulled up my hair and slipped on my shorts, getting ready for my morning jog. I ran the two miles to Starbucks, then turned around and ran back, my heart feeling ready to explode, along with my lungs. By the time I got back it was nearly noon, so I grabbed a salami and cheese sandwich. Halfway through my sandwich, Carrie came running down the stairs, "Hey! You're back! You might wanna start gettin' ready. We gotta be there real soon." I finished the last couple bites and went straight to my room, not seeing my dress. Oh no. Nervously I searched through everywhere it could be. My room was't that big so this shouldn't be as hard as it was. The exact moment I realized its not anywhere in my room, Ben got home and is walking down the hallway. "Wheres my dress?" I asked panicking, hoping he might have seen it. He let out a small chuckle, "I moved it into my room so It would be safe." Oh thank God. I rushed into his, slightly bigger, bedroom, I spotted the dress hanging on the metal hanger, the clear plastic still covering it. I grabbed the hanger and rushed back to my room and slipped it on. After I did my hair, then came my make up. Carrie knocked, almost making me poke my eye, "Almost done? We need to go like now!" I checked my phone and saw the glowing numbers 4:36. "I'm coming!" I yelled back, knowing we had to get there early for the Red Carpet. There was going to be so many of my favorite singers, I might have just passed out. My stomach was already giving me problems, too many butterflies. Let's just hope I could get through the first mile without puking in the car. I carefully slid into the back seat of Carrie's car, Miranda in front of me, and Carrie driving. The ride seemed like it was taking forever, each minute made my stomach feel increasingly worse. After about ten minutes, I closed my eyes, hoping that if I don't see anything, my stomach would feel better, at least a little bit. The car slowed down and Miranda spoke up, "Rise and shine sleeping beauty! Time for some Q&A." Q&A? I wasn't expecting that. "Me too?" I mean, I wasn't famous or anything. " Yup. Come on, don't wanna be late," Carrie said, clicking off her seat belt. I did the same and scrambled out of the car, nearly dropping my tan clutch. We walked into the tiny room, crammed with paparazzi. Sitting on the metal stool by my microphone, the reporters started calling my name, hoping to get picked on. "Are you and Mr. Hayes dating?!" This was going to be a long day.
