Hunters POV

I stared down at the ground for a while, just taking it all in. The nominations were enough, but winning? That put me in a state of shock. Thank God it did, otherwise I wouldn't have had the nerve to practically drag Keira out of the place. Speaking of- I looked up to see her looking down in the same position I was.

Keira's POV

"Kei!" I heard Hunter scream from behind me as I stepped off the curb. Before I could turn around, I felt a firm hand grasp my wrist so tight that it hurt, jolting me backward,  landing on the concrete side walk. I felt my back burn and sting in pain while I laid on the ground. I opened my eyes to see a crystal blue eyed boy stare straight at me as my face got hot with anger and embarrassment.

"What the hell?!" I yelled.

"Do you realize you almost got hit by that car?! Don't be yelling at me! I just saved your life!" Hunter yelled back.

"Owwh," I sat up, "Hunter, how bad us my back?" it burned like hell. He carefully pulled my shirt down just enough to see the scapes on my shoulder blades.

"Pretty bad. Sorry, Kei, I feel awful. Want me to come back to your house to help you clean it off?" he offered. Ben and Carrie were probably there and could've helped me, but to be honest, I didn't want to see him leave. "Sure... Thanks," I answered awkwardly and stood up, "Good think I got changed or that could've been really awkward." We walked, in laughter, the way back to the parking lot where I follow Hunter to get the guys from the award show.

About twenty minutes later we got to the car, which must've been Sam's, figuring he was the one driving.

"Hey, Sammy, can you drop us off at Carrie's place?" Hunter turned to look at him.

"Sure just... don't do anything rated R," Sam smiled.

"Woah!" Hunter and I yelled together.

"I meant like murder! Sickos!" he laughed.

"Yeah, sure," Mat said from right next to me, behind Hunter who was in the passengers seat.

"But really."
