26 ◆ Kieras POV

"It can't be the same guy. Right Ben?" I looked at him, hoping it isn't Hunter Hayes. "Actually, Ki, I think it is." You're kidding me right? I couldn't help but think that I needed to learn more about this. Who would know more? My mom. No way I was turning to her. Hunter. He was the only one but he was mad at me. I grabbed every picture of me and the boy I could find, and ran upstairs. I punched Hunters number into my cell phone and waited. It rang once then went to voice mail. He declined. I called again. "Hello?" Well I wasn't expecting that. "Hey... you still mad at me?" I looked at the clock. I must have fell asleep sometime because its the next morning. Wow time flew. "Yeah kind of," but I apologized! What more does he want? "I said I'm sorry! I know I was wrong to take advantage of you like that. But we really need to talk," After I said that came a long silence. Then, "No I don't think so, Ki." What?! "What you just never want to speak to me again?" My voice cracked. "I'm a little busy. I gotta go," good excuse. I hung up the phone and took a shower, my own little concert. I came out after an hour and dried my hair, put on clothes, and grabbed my camo-cased phone. Carrie's in the living room as I walked through, "Where you goin'?" I answered truthfully, "Movies." "Hunter there?" she asked, wondering if we made up. "No. I'm going by myself, " I sounded like a loser. "Oh. Do you mind letting me join you? I'm going a little stir crazy just sitting here all day," Maybe it'd be nice to just have some girl time, "Sure!"
