32◆Kieras POV
I laughed at the question and moved closer to the microphone. "No, Hunter and I aren't dating, nor close friends," I answered truthfully, making sure to speak clearly. "Pictures of you and Mr. Hayes have gone viral within the last 2 months," the same man said, making me aware of the information. "We had a couple conversations when we ran into each other at Starbucks, nothing more, nothing less," I said, hoping it didn't sound as harsh as I meant it.
Hunter's POV
After a little Q&A with some paparazzi, the band headed to their dressing rooms, as did I. Slipping on my new red converse, I clicked the 'ON' on the remote to the TV. A women in a plain red dress announced where they are, "We are live from the Q&A Room at the CMT Awards! At the moment, a close family member of Carrie Underwood's is answering a few questions about the pictures of her and Mr. Hunter Hayes that leaked a couple months ago." What pictures? Did she do that? What was she even doing there?! The camera man zoomed in on Kiera, as she was obviously nervous. "We had a couple conversations when we ran into each other at Starbucks, nothing more, nothing less," the words escaped from her pink, glossed up, lips. Is that really all it was to her? Just a few conversations? I watched as the three ladies made their way out of the room, which is only about 100 feet from my dressing room. I quickly stepped out into the wide hallway, waiting for her to come into sight. After about 2 minutes of waiting, I spotted her emerald green eyes. She looked in my direction and our eyes met. I hoped she didn't know that I did that on purpose.
