Maddison's POV

"I died and then I guess Hydra took my body and resurrected then trained me to become as assassin. I met this guy while I was in there and we dated for a bit, but he got killed. And Boom! Artemis arrived 9 months later." I simply said to Nat, Bruce and my mom who was playing with her granddaughter. 

We were in my room talking and playing with Artemis.

"Have you told the rest of them yet?" Nat asked. She was laying on my bed with me. I shook my head.

"I was going to tell everyone in the conference room-"

"Come on then! Everyone will be excited to see you!" My mom said already out the door with Artemis in her hands. I put a hoodie on to cover my face as we made our was to the conference room. We ran into Steve along the way and he joined.

Steve called the rest of the Avengers in, plus a few agents and I sat down in the corner.

Finally Fury, Clint, Thor and Nick walked in and sat down. Then Tony came in holding a glass of scotch. I scuffed. Same old Tony.

"What now Capsicle?" Tony asked irritated, I mentally bust out Laughing.

"Maddison's alive." Steve said bluntly. Everyone who didn't know looked at him like he's crazy.

"That scarlet girl got to you huh? Maddison is gone." Tony raised his voice.

Well Damn.

"No she's not." I said, and everyone turned towards me.

I took my hood off and they gasped.

"Momma." Artemis laughed and waddled over to me. I looked at everyone and waved.

"Hey."

"No." Tony stated and stood up. "You're not Maddison! Maddison died 2 years ago!" He was now crying and then he stormed out the room. The room fell silent and Nick stood up walking towards me.

"Maddie?" Tears threatened to come out of his eyes. I nodded and ran to him.

 I jumped into his arms and hugged him, both of us started crying. "God I thought I lost you."

"You can't get rid of me that easily." I mumbled and he laughed. He set me down and kissed my forehead. 

"Is she yours?" He asked looking down at Artemis shocked. I laughed.

"What do you think?"

Fury came up to me and did the unexpected. He hugged me!

"Woah, did Fury just hug me?" I laughed.

"No, your grandfather just did." I pull away and look at my mom, who nodded with a smile.

"No way!" I screeched. Everyone laughed.

Clint came up to me and ruffled my hair and hugged me. Then I was face to face with Thor. Well face to chest.

 I looked up at him and frowned and he frowned at me.

"You got fatter Shakespeare." I poked his stomach.

"And you're still yet a small elf." He replied.

We started laughing and he picked me up and hugged me. "I missed you." We both said at the same time and laughed.

I greeted the other agents that I used to talk to and some of them were in tears.

While everyone was socializing I picked up Artemis and slipped out the room unnoticed and headed to find Tony. I searched all over the helicarrier but still no Tony. Then I realized he probably went to the tower. I went to my room and grabbed the car seat Nat bought Artemis. I went to the hanger and hopped into a plane. An agent was walking by so I asked them if he could take me to the tower.

The elevator door opened and I saw the furniture and decor exactly the same. Just how I remember it. I stepped out and walked over to the couch setting the car seat down. Artemis unbuckled the belt and lifted her arms. I picked her up and set her on the ground. Next thing you know she took off running to my old room. I laughed and walked towards the room. I heard someone crying and peeked around the corner. 

Tony was kneeling at the side of my bed with his head on it, crying. I watched an Artemis slowly walked over to him. She reached out and touched his face. He stopped crying and looked down at her.

"You look so much like her." He said picking her up. He sat her on the bed and looked at her. Artemis leaned forward and started to wipe his eyes. "Starks' don't cry." She said. 

He chuckled and wiped his eyes. "Yup you're my granddaughter alright." He kissed her on the forehead causing her to giggle. "Momma!" She looked at me and Tony froze.

He turned towards me. His eyes were red and he had black circles under them. Grey hair was peeking out of his goatee and hair. He looked exhausted. Like he hasn't slept in a while.

I walked over to him as he stood up. 

"I'm sorry." Was all I said and I broke down crying. He pulled me into a hug and held me. I missed this. I missed everything.

I must have cried myself to sleep because when I woke up I was on the bed. I looked around and didn't see Artemis. I started to freak out. I shot up out of bed and ran out the room. I ran into the kitchen and saw Artemis with Tony eating Icecream. I sighed. He looked up at me and saw my face.

"What's wrong?"

"I woke up and didn't see Artemis and I got scared." I walked over to her kissing her head.
