Maddison's POV

I woke up with shackles on my wrists and ankles. I groaned because my body was hurting. I stood up and looked around. I was in a dirty old prison cell. The walls were made of brick and the bars on the door were rusted. Okay, either they are really stupid or they are expecting me to break out of here easily.

The door opened and 2 guards walked in. "The boss is on the other base so we have have her to ourselves for a few hours." One of them said walking up to me with a sick smile.

I try to use my powers but nothing happens. I try over and over as the guards walk over to me but nothing happens. My powers don't work, what did they do?

The first guy grabbed me. He put his face by my neck and inhaled my scent. I guess it was a turn on because he began to grope me. 

"Get the hell away from me asshole." I screamed.

I punched him in the stomach which he didn't take lightly. The other guard by the door handed him scissors and walked towards me. 

"Oh we're going to have so much fun with you."

He began to cut my clothes and rip them off. I struggled and tried to fight but it didn't stop them. I screamed and cried. Praying that they would kill me instead of dehumanizing me. 

Tony's POV

"Tony calm down she-" I cut Abigail off.

"Get the hell away from me and don't tell me to calm down when my daughter gets taken by Hydra!" I scream. All the avengers are in the Med bay, but Bruce is still in surgery with Artemis. 

"Both of you shut the hell up!" Fury yells. "Everyone needs to calm down and not let this get personal."

"This is a family affair. This is beyond just 'personal'!" I snapped sitting back down drinking the last of my scotch from my glass.

"How long has it been since Maddison been snatched?" Steve asks.

"About 5 hours, Captain Rogers." J.A.R.V.I.S. replies.

"Fury is right, we cant let this get personal. Treat this like any other mission we're assigned." Steve says standing up walking towards the door, out the room.

"You're being a hypocrite." I say and he turns around to face me. 

"This is a mission. Letting it get personal will compromise it."

"Quit the foreplay Capsicle."

"I swear to god Stark-" 

"Hey!" We both look at Abigail who walks over to a computer.

"Once Bruce gets the tracker out of Artemis, we're going to trace it back to them. From there Cap you will lead a squad of Shield agents through the front. Nick and Clint are on their way and they will enter through the roof. Natasha will be with Cap. Thor will enter through the back. Bruce, Dad and I will be in the Quinjet. Is everyone clear!" Abigail orders and Fury smirks.

"Who died and made you Captain?" I roll my eyes.

"As a matter of fact she's leading this mission. You will be working under Abigail's command until you and Rogers can get it together. Dismissed!" Fury says and leaves.

Maddison's POV

I laid on the ground crying from all the pain. The guards pulled up their pants and walked out the room. I soon passed out.

I woke up to yelling and gunfire. The Avengers? I slowly crawl towards the door peeking down the hall. I see a guy with a gun in his hand and 2 guards dead on the ground. He looked up at me and came towards me.

I backed away as quickly as I could. The door swung open and the guy ran to me. I started kicking and screaming.

"Scarlet! Its me, its Jake!" The guy yells. I look at him and remember.

 Jake was an assassin for Hydra as well, we did a few jobs together and became really close. Until he escaped and went rogue. I started crying and hugged me, which he returned.

"Let's get you out of here." He picked me up bridal style and made his way out the building. He lays me down in a car and hops in the drivers seat as I doze off. 

I woke up on a bed. I sit up quickly and see that i'm in a motel room. Jake walks out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist and shirtless.

I stare at his chest until he clears his throat. I turn away blushing and he laughs.

"You like what you see?" He teases walking over to me.

I look up at him smiling. "I always did."
