Your POV:

As you were sat in the kitchen a million things were racing through your head, you couldn't believe Brad had just said that.

You were starting to slowly calm down and knew you needed to clear your head while Brad needed some time alone to calm down. You grabbed your jacket from the coat rack as you made your way towards the front door, unlocking it and closing it behind you quietly.

You had no idea where you were going to go but you knew you coudn't stay in the house so you just kept walking. Just when you thought your day couldn't get any worse than it already had, it started to rain.

It was only a matter of seconds before your jacket was soaked, along with the rest of your clothes. You thought about turning back but you knew as soon as you got home you would have to get changed, which involved going to the bedroom where Brad was currently sulking.

You carried on walking and decided to try and distract yourself from the thoughts circling around your head by listening to music. You plugged your headphones into your phone and shuffled your music, immediately skipping the first song since it reminded you of Brad.

10 minutes later and you had started to head back home, you were still listening to music and barely able to see where you were going because of the rain. You thought you heard shouting from behind you, so you took an earphone out and turned around while still walking.

Next thing you knew you were being flung into the air and heard the screeching off a car before your body was slammed against the ground and everything started to go black. There was muffled voices around you but you couldn't make out anything they were saying, then everything stopped and you couldn't hear or see anything.

As soon as your eyes started to open you were greeted with a bright, white light shining in your face. You heard beeping beside you before fully opening your eyes and realising you were in a hospital. You looked around you, taking in the surroundings before seeing that Brad was lying uncomfortably in a plastic chair beside you.

His eyes were shut but you noticed the bags underneath them and the red colour surrounding them. He was obviously catching up on missed sleep.

You were confused to what happened, the last thing you remembered was going for a walk after arguing with Brad and now you were waking up in a hospital.

You rolled over to face Brad, before feeling a sharp, stabbing pain in the side of your stomach causing you to wince. As soon as the noise left your mouth Brad started to stir, his eyes fluttering before fully opening. It took him a couple of seconds to realise that your eyes were also open, and staring back at him. You noticed the bags under his eyes more prominently than before, and also that his eyes were bloodshot. He looked worn out in general, and as if he hadn't slept for days.

"You're awake, oh my god. I'll go get a nurse. How are you? Are you okay? Hold on, Y/N, I'll be right back. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Brad spat out all at once, his eyes lighting up slightly before he rose from his seat and rushed towards the door, calling for a nurse.

A nurse came rushing in, pushing past Brad and attended to you, doing test and asking you lots of questions, most of them being about memory and how much you remember, which thankfully was almost everything... You just didn't remember how you got here.

After a while of nurses and doctors rushing around and making sure you were alright you were left alone with Brad. You remembered the fight, but barely remembered anything that was said. It must have been something serious for you to walk out though, you normally never gave up when you and Brad argued.

"I'm really sorry for what I said Y/N, I didn't mean any of it. I want you in my life I really do... Not even want, I need you in my life. I swear, I didn't mean anything." Brad spoke quickly, tears starting to brim in his eyes.

"Brad, I can't even remember what you said but it doesn't even matter. What matters is you're here now and you were here for me while I was unconscious, how long was I out for?" You asked, shuffling up on the bed trying to get comfortable.

Brad rushed to your side and helped you sit up, you gave him a small smile which he returned but still looked guilty.

"Two days. It was the worst two days of my life, oh my god. I thought you were gonna... This is all my fault. If I didn't say what I said then you wouldn't have gone out and wouldn't have gotten hit by the car. Y/N I hate what I've done to you. It should be me lying in that hospital bed, not you." Brad sighed, tears spilling down his cheeks which he quickly wiped away without any hesitation.

"Please calm down, none of this is your fault. Please don't blame yourself Brad, if anything it's my fault. I should've been looking where I was going. I forgive you for the argument Brad, I just wanna move on. Everything's gonna be okay, baby, I'll be getting go home in a couple of days they said." You smiled softly, taking a hold of Brad's hand in your own and bringing it to your lips. You pressed a kiss to the back of his hand and he gave you a small smile before nodding.

"You're right." He mumbled, "Then we can go back to normal, just you and me."

"You and me." You repeated, grinning. Brad's eyes were starting to close but you could see was fighting to keep them open.

"It's okay for you to sleep Brad, I'm not going anywhere, I promise. I'm right here." You smiled as he did the same, nodding without saying anything and letting his eyes close.

He rested his head against the pillow you had given him and wrapped his arm around the blanket the nurses gave to him, while he still held on to your hand.

"I'm glad you're okay, Y/N..." Brad muttered sleepily, he was on the verge of sleeping. "I don't think I could live without you."

His words made your heart flutter and you could feel the tears spilling down your face, unable to stop them. Even though his eyes were shut and he couldn't see you, you smiled.

"I couldn't imagine living without you either, Bradley."
