Being on tour was so much fun but the thought of getting home to see your family and friends was the only thing that kept you going when it got tiring. It was finally the end of tour and as much as you were going to miss preforming every night to your amazing fans you were beyond excited to get home.

As you boarded the flight back to your own country you were thinking about who would be waiting for you when you arrived. You knew your mum was going to be there as she had being texting you throughout the day. Unfortunately, your boyfriend Brad wasn't going to be able to make it as he had just started touring with his own band. You were upset that you weren't going to be able to see him. As soon as his tour finished you were back to recording and doing promo work. Sometimes it was hard being in a relationship where you were both famous and on tour; you rarely got to spend time together and were always in different countries, but the time you did spend together was amazing and just because you didn't always see each other didn't mean you didn't text or FaceTime constantly.

You stepped off the plane after collecting your hang luggage and thanking the air hostess. You walked with all the other passengers into the building, once you got inside you followed the signs which led you out to arrivals. As soon as you got there you saw your mum holding a sign with your nickname she had given you on it, causing you to laugh. You grinned while walking over to her as she noticed it was you she had the biggest smile on her face and started to cry.

"I hope those are happy tears." You laughed as you were taken into a hug.

"No, I'm thinking about having to deal with you moping around the house for 3 months." She mumbled sarcastically, "Of course they're happy tears you idiot!"

"I missed you so much, Mum." You started to feel yourself tear up.

"I missed you too darling, but there's something who missed you so much more... Which frankly, I find impossible but I can understand nonetheless." Your mum smiled as she pulled away from you.

"What are you talking about?" You asked, confused.

"Follow me, we need to go collect your bags don't we?" She grinned, wiping her eyes and taking your hand and she led you to where you collected your suitcases.

-

As soon as you reached the collection of luggage you saw him. He was standing in the corner with your two suitcases beside him. He looked up from his phone and saw you standing there before breaking into a massive grin as you ran towards him. You didn't care what people around you thought, you had to hold him; to kiss him; to hear his voice in person and not over the phone as you had done for so many nights.

When you reached him he lifted you up as you wrapped your legs around his waist. He pressed a kiss to your lips, which quickly developed into something deeper. You didn't care if anyone was watching. All that mattered was you and him. A couple of seconds later you pulled away and he put you down.

"I can't believe you're here, I thought you were on tour. What's going on? It's so good to see you, how long has it been? I haven't seen you properly in ages. Like, 4 months. I can't even remember now. Oh my god, Brad... You're here! What's happening? Is this a dream?" You rambled on, speaking so fast that you were pretty sure he wasn't keeping up.

"Babe, breathe. You're talking so fast. We have ages together, don't worry. I might have told you a little white lie to surprise you; tour doesn't start for 3 more weeks. As long as it's okay with your parents then that's how long we have together, just me and you Y/N." Brad smiled, pressing a kiss to your forehead.

"Sounds absolutely perfect." You smiled back before turning to your mum. "I can't believe you didn't say anything, you're so bad at secrets!"

"He made me promise, plus it was so worth it. You two are adorable." She grinned, wiping a tear from her eye which caused you to laugh and shake your head.

"Come on, let's get home." She smiled, reaching for one of your suitcases. "You must be exhausted."

"I am." You laughed as Brad started to take your other suitcase. "It's fine I can take that one."

"What? No. Babe, you've just been on tour and a flight. You just said your tired, the least I could do is wheel a suitcase to the car." Brad laughed while wrapping his arm around your waist. You knew there was no point arguing so you just smiled and pressed a kiss to his cheek before muttering a sleepy thank you.
