Everything was fine for a month. The heat of Emma's disappearance was gone for the most part, but both Killian and Emma were still being cautious. Killian hadn't abducted or murdered for those four weeks, and he was getting used to the rewards Emma gave him.

They both knew how they felt, but they were scared to say anything in case the other didn't feel the same way. They both fell in love with each other.

It was around midnight and Emma had gone up to bed about an hour before. Killian was in his office finishing up a report. He clicked on the save button and shut his computer down, and didn't look twice back in the room. He stumbled up the stairs and crawled next to Emma, not worrying about taking off his clothes. He was dead tired. As soon as his head hit the pillow, he was fast asleep.

He woke up again a few hours later to the bed moving. He looked over and saw Emma thrashing and squirming. She had a scared look on her face even though she was sleeping. Killian started shaking her to try to get her awake. She sat straight up and was breathing heavily.

"Hey, are you alright, love?" He asked. His hand still sat on her shoulder. She didn't answer him as she stood up and left the bedroom. He stood up and followed her into the kitchen. "It was just a nightmare, Swan."

"Just a nightmare? That shit happened while I was with him! I'm not dreaming. I'm remembering. I'm remembering Walsh and all of the things he did to me because of you!"

"How is it my fault?"

"It just is! It's because of how you are treating me! It's because you're being nice to me. I'm feeling things that I never have before and it's all because of you!"

"Well I apologize for treating you how you deserve."

"You don't know what I deserve!"

Anger was filling his chest. He turned around and walked to the front door and grabbed his jacket and his keys, before walking right out of the house. He went down to his car and got in, and drove away. He had something to do.

Emma stared at the door the love of her life just walked out of. Tears pooled in her eyes. He was probably going to kill someone and it would be all her fault. She collapsed to the floor and buried her head in her hands.

"I'm sorry!" She yelled even though no one was there.

She didn't know how long she sat there, but the tears had eventually stopped. Killian still wasn't back, and that worried her. What was he doing?

Suddenly, the front door swung open and she picked herself up off the floor. She watched as he walked into the house and while carrying someone over his shoulder and down to the basement. She had only been down there a few times, and was completely terrified of the place. The room was huge, but also sound proof. Weapons hung on the wall that was hidden behind a giant painting of the ocean. A pole sat in the middle of the basement used to hold up the ceiling. In a chest in the corner of the room, there was rope, duct tape, and blindfolds. The entire room was windowless. The walls were white and the floor was gray.

Emma followed Killian down and watched as he placed the person down on the floor in front of the pole. There was a bag over the person's head so she couldn't see who it was. She could tell it was a man though because of how they were dressed. An orange shirt and jeans.

"You might want to go back upstairs. This isn't going to be pretty." Killian said as he grabbed some rope and duct tape.

"Who is that?" She asked.

"You'll find out. You might even be surprised on who it is."

Emma was completely terrified for her life. She could barely hear her own thoughts over the sound of her heart beating in her chest. She watched as Killian took off his belt and pull a chair up in front of the person, although he didn't sit down.

"W-what are you doing?" She asked as she backed away.

He threw his belt on the ground and held his hands up in surrender. "I'm not going to hurt you, love. I said I wouldn't and I won't."

"Then why did you take off your belt?"

"That is my weapon of choice for this particular person." He held his hand out for her and she hesitantly took it. He led her over to the person still sitting perfectly still on the ground. Killian ripped the bag off the person's head and Emma's breath caught in her throat.

"You-you-you kidnapped him." Emma stuttered.

A twisted smile grew on Killian's face. "I did. And now, you don't have to worry about him ever hurting you again."

"This is not the way."

"Walsh had it coming to him. Now, I get to do everything to him that he did to you."

Walsh started stirring and Killian sat down in the chair. His belt in hand. Emma stood near the steps, not knowing what to do.

"It's okay, love. You can come into the light. He's not leaving here alive." Killian said. He stood up and brought another chair over and put it next to his own. "Sit down."

Emma was afraid to say no, so she did as she was told. She watched as Walsh opened his eyes and a look she couldn't place filled his eyes.

"Now this is when the fun begins." Killian said. "Now, Walsh, I'm sure you remember Emma. You know, your girlfriend. The one that you beat, hurt, and did who knows what else to her. She's told me all of it."

Walsh tried to say something, but it came out as muffled words.

"Nope. You aren't talking until I let you." Killian's smile faded from his face.

Emma stood up. "I want a moment alone with him."
