Emma rushed around the room trying to get ready for her first doctor appointment for the baby. Killian watched in amusement as his fiancé ran around the room. She finally stopped at the door and looked at him.

"We have to go." She said, glancing at the alarm clock next to the bed.

"We have fifteen minutes to spare. The hospital is five minutes away. We have time." He said, standing up and making his way to her. "All you have to do is relax."

"I'm excited!" A smile broke out on Emma's face. "I get to see my baby!"

Killian chuckled beside her and reached for the doorknob. He opened the door for her and she walked out. "Baby Jones."

She smiled as she grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the B&B to the car. They both were thinking the same thing.

'Mr. Jones, Mrs. Jones, and Baby Jones.'

They got to the hospital and got put into an ultrasound room. Emma got situated onto the table and grabbed Killian's hand. They looked into each other's eyes for a few moments until a knock on the door interrupted their trance.

"Hi, my name is Juliet Burke. I'll be the doctor taking care of you." She smiled warmly. Her wavy blonde hair fell down her back and shoulders. She started the machine up and put a cold gel on Emma's stomach. Then, Dr. Burke brought the wand over and spread it around, getting a dark image on the screen. "There we are." She pointed to the screen on the computer. "There is your baby. You are about seven weeks along. You can hear the heartbeat of you'd like?"

They both nodded and a tiny beating sound filled the room. Emma looked up at Killian with tears in her eyes. She couldn't believe that she was starting her family. She kissed Killian's knuckles and looked at the screen.

"When is the due date?" Killian asked.

"Around August. Schedule your next appointment and you can get another ultrasound picture in your hands. Congratulations." Dr. Burke printed an image of the ultrasound screen out. She handed it to Killian and then left. Emma stared at the screen while he looked at the picture for a few moments.

Killian helped her off the table and helped her get dressed. Once they left the hospital, he dropped her off at the sheriff's station and watched as she was hesitant to walk in.

"Swan, just go in there. Talk to your father. You'll be fine." He said, hoping that would give her a good enough push.

Emma took a deep breath and looked over her shoulder. Killian smiled reassuringly and she walked into the building. He drove away, satisfied that Emma was going to overcome her fears.

Emma saw David sitting at his desk, not aware that she had just walked in. She went over to his little cubical and knocked on the doorframe. He shot his head up and was surprised to see her.

"Emma?"

"Yea." She looked down at her feet. "I had a doctors appointment today for the baby." She pulled the ultrasound picture out of her back pocket and handed it to him. "That's your grandchild."

David looked up at her with a smile on his lips and tears in his eyes. He stood up and hugged her, cradling her head like a baby. "It's not fair that your mother and I didn't get a chance to watch you grow up. Now, you are engaged and pregnant. I couldn't be happier about it."

"How'd you know I was engaged?"

David pulled away and held up her left hand. "The ring. I approve of him, Emma. Mostly because I know what a good man he is. But if he hurts you, I'll hurt him."

"Okay." She said with a laugh. "I should get started on work."

"I'm not putting you out on the field. And I'm saying this as your boss, not your father."

"Thanks. I wouldn't want to imagine what would happen if something happened to the baby. Killian would be devastated."

"I know. He's wanted a baby, probably ever since he was one." David said sarcastically.

Emma laughed. "I'm glad he approves. My last boyfriend didn't want kids."

"Your last boyfriend?"

'Fuck.' "He had a different opinion about things, so we separated."

"That's a good reason to break up. At least you finally found your true love."

Emma nodded and sat down at her desk to get started on some paperwork.

When Killian came to pick her up a few hours later, he had the biggest smile on his face. She said a quick goodbye to David and left. Killian helped her into his truck, and they drove to Granny's.

"I figured we could get some food before we head home." He said after they ordered.

"Right. But right now, 'home' is upstairs." She said with confusion.

Killian's smile grew wider. He grabbed her hand and kissed it. "I love you."

"No, wait a minute. You didn't answer me."

The conversation was cut short when food was placed in front of them. Killian ate rather quickly. His stomach was doing flip-flops and butterflies were fluttering around. He placed money on the table and grabbed Emma's wrist after she was done.

They drove down the road, and Emma kept glancing between the road and Killian.

"Where the hell are you taking me?" She asked.

"You'll see, Swan. I just hope you like it."

"What are you talking-" She cut herself off when they pulled up in front of a white and blue house. A tree in front of the yard and a white picket fence surrounding the property. "About." She finished as she got out of the car and over to the house.

"Welcome home!" Killian shouted behind her and swept her up into his arms.

A smile broke out on her face and she giggled the entire way up the steps and into their new home.

After she looked around, she walked back to Killian who was staring at her with a smile on his face. "This is amazing!"

"I figured we needed to celebrate the baby, and what better way to celebrate one part of our life, than to get another part? Of course, we can do whatever else you'd like to do." He said the last part with a smirk.

She grabbed the collar of his jacket and yanked her lips to his. He didn't take anytime to respond.

After a few seconds, they both pulled away for air.

"I love you." Emma whispered on his lips.

"I love you too."

Ugh! This chapter sucks. Sorry.
