She's so tired.

She's been working like a dog for three days. The only time she gets a rest is during mealtime and, of course, sleeping time. She wakes up at six in the morning, and after taking a shower, she eats her breakfast, then she will start her work immediately.

She chooses to stay in the big vacation house until the work she volunteered to do will finish. Saving time from traveling and also saving money for gas.

The two-level private vacation house is situated on the hilltop overlooking the ocean and is owned by what her aunt Lenna told her, a bachelor billionaire. Actually, she's not interested in whether the owner of this house is a billionaire. She only wanted to help her aunt.

Today is her third and will be the last day. At last, she is close to completion of the task she voluntarily does.

Stretching her body while walking around the house to check if she didn't forget something. And also, she wanted to make sure that not a single speck of dust could be seen in all the corners of the house.

After a thorough check, she smiled for the job well done. Even feeling exhausted, she's happy. Of course, she is the kind of person who will do all the tasks given to her, close to perfection. She doesn't want whoever paid her service to have any complaints. For her, doing her best is not only for the one who pays, but most of all, she's doing her best as if she's working for the Lord. The satisfaction of the people she gave her service is a great reward. Satisfied with her hard work, she goes back to the room she occupied and packs all her things. She will get ready to go home.

According to her aunt, the owner will be arriving at his place by tomorrow.

After packing up her things, she moves to the living room. Gathering some strength for a long hour drive back to the office of Shine Bright Housekeeping.
She sits down on the couch and leans her head on the couch backrest.

Because she used up too much of her energy for three days, she fell asleep on the couch. She even adrift to Wonderland.

['Catch me if you can! ' She said, running and laughing at her best friend Miguel.

'Ha ha ha, run Briar.'

'Ha ha ha... Faster Migz'

'Caught you.' Holding her in her arms.

'Ha ha ha'

'I will miss you.' Miguel said.

'Me too. I will miss you. You will be far away from here.' Replied Briar.
She is sad that Miguel will be going far. No more Miguel to protect her from bullies. No more Miguel to help her in her homework. And no more Miguel who will make her laugh like this. She looks at his eyes, and the tears that she was holding welled down her cheeks. Miguel hugged her.

'Hey! Don't cry; we keep in touch. We can have a video call through Skype. We can write emails.' Miguel told her, still holding her.

Her cry choked her and awakened her up. She wipes the tears in her eyes. She sits up. She dreamed of her best friend. She missed him. Though they talked and chatted every day, it's still different when he is with her personally.

Miguel and Briar were the best friends since they were only five. They were neighbors. They found a sibling in each other they both don't have. Her mother couldn't have another child after she was born. Her parents have tried to give her brother or sister, but they failed. So as Miguel's parents. Miguel has a baby brother but didn't survive due to his acute pneumonia when he was only a month old. Whatever the reasons for Miguel's parents not giving him a sibling, she doesn't know. So two of them treat each other as brothers and sisters. They both went to the same school from preschool until form two. But when Miguel's family moved to the US because of the position of his dad in the company, they parted ways. They only communicate via emails and video calls using a different application. If one of them discovers the new application, they will download it.

Her reminiscing about the past stopped abruptly when she heard the doorbell's rung.

'Who could this be? Ah, maybe one of the staff working on the golf course.' She thought.

To find out who is ringing the bell, she stands up and walks to peep through the security hole. There's a man standing to face his back from the door. He has a broad shoulder and is tall. He is wearing light blue long sleeves that roll up to his elbow, paired with blue faded jeans. He looks casual. He couldn't be one of the workers. She saw some of them in her three days of staying in the place. They are wearing t-shirts; actually, they are in uniform. Then, who is this man outside the door?

She could see that he was digging something from his satchel. She is about to leave the door when it suddenly opens, and she is not aware of it. She falls to the floor. Her butt landed on the hard floor. She wanted to cry for the pain she felt. But she doesn't want to add the embarrassment for her stupidity.

How come she didn't hear the man opening the door? She didn't even notice when he turned.

She wants to stand up, but she can't move. It hurts that she could feel her butt burning. She tried again but could not force herself to stand. She decided to stay where she landed for a while.

She could sense the presence of the man in front of her. She's very sure that he is looking down at her. She felt her blood rushing in her face. She's so embarrassed. As soon as she can stand, she will leave the place immediately, she thought.
