Briar's POV

She arrived at the waterfall an hour and a half before the wedding. She wanted to make sure that everything was ready. The candles that they're going to use for this romantic waterfall wedding are ready. They will only use electric candles to prevent fire. The two crews, now dressed in their formal attire, are on standby. They will light up the candles from the entrance to light up the pathway an hour before the ceremony starts.

The whole area will be surrounded by candles. Some were hanging inside the wooden lanterns.

This is her dream wedding for herself. How she wishes she were the one walking down the aisle tonight. The sudden pinch in her heart. Despite her success, there's something missing. She just takes a deep breath and focuses on her job. Maybe her time hasn't come yet. There will always be perfect timing for everything. She will wait for that time to come. She doesn't have to rush.

She heard some cars coming from afar. Then it went outside, towards the road.

The mayor has sent some aid to help with the traffic around four.

The minister has arrived. He greeted him.

"Good evening, Minister!"

"Good evening, Miss Friedman. This place is beautiful," the minister said admiringly.

"Thank you, Minister," she replied, smiling.

"You're very early, Minister?" she asked.

"Yes, I intended it to be early; I wanted to pray in this place first," he replied. "Would you be with me while I bless this place, Miss Friedmann?"

"Of course, Minister. Thank you!"

Then the two were walking around the place. She just listened to the minister as he prayed.

The crews have started lighting up the candles.

Jenny arrived at the same time as the musicians, so she guides them to their place on the left-hand side, facing the altar. They will be under the trees.

The place is very clean; they have put a screen above to avoid some dried leaves or anything from the trees falling onto the people beneath.

Though this is her first time handling the waterfall's wedding, she is a professional for the safety precautions.

The place was covered with green chicken wires in and around the areas.

Guests are coming now.

And they are finished praying for the place too.

She and Jenny usher them to their seats inside.

The place was big enough to accommodate the invited guest. The rest will join them at the reception later. Only the parents of both parties, primary sponsors, bridesmaids, groomsmen, ring bearers, flower girls, and a few close friends are invited to this place. It's according to the bride and groom.

Both parents have arrived, and Jenny ushered Josef's parents into their seats together with Caren's mother. And Briar ushered Caren's father to where he will stand with Caren later.

The cars are parked on the opposite side of the road so they have a place to line up for the wedding march.

A few more cars are coming, and the traffic enforcers guide them to park in the right place. The four sets of the primary sponsor. Jenny guided them.

The first limousine arrived. It's the groom and the groom's men. Jenny quickly walked towards them and asked who Josef's best man was.

"I'm the best man," Rafael said. "I'm Rafael." He introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you, Rafael. I'm Jenny, Briar's assistant. Now you and Josef come with me," Jenny told the two men.

She could see that there were three men standing on the opposite side of the road. If she's not mistaken, they are waiting for the instructions from them. She looks at them; they're all familiar to her. Then her eyes landed on the man she saw in the villa; That's him,she uttered. She doesn't know that he's one of the groomsmen.

She never thought that he was one of those listed groomsmen. Of course, she doesn't know his name. Even the three more men she has no idea that they're those men she has met in one of the beach parties she attended one summer in Brazil.

She knows their names, but she can't remember their surnames.

She walked towards them.

"Hello, gentlemen!" She shook their hands.

"Hello, Briar. Hope you still remember us." Lucas smiled at her.

"Of course, Lucas, I still remembered all of you." She said, smiling back.

"Glad to see you again, Briar," Flavio said.

"It's been a while," said Lucas.

"Yes," she replied.

"By the way, this is Matheus, our friend too. He wasn't at the beach before; that's why you didn't meet him." Lucas introduced Matheus to her.

Her heart suddenly stopped when Matheus looked at her. Then when he extended his hand and took her, her heart was racing. Like drumming in her ribcage

She heaved a sigh and composed herself. She mustn't get affected.

"Guys, just stay where you are; we'll wait for the bridesmaids to come." She ordered the men.

The second limousine arrived. It must be the bridesmaid. She's right. The ladies and a little girl emerged from the limousine. Her best friend is there too.

When Laly saw her, she crossed the road.

Jenny was alert; she ushered the bridesmaids to their respective partners.

"Briar. This place is beautiful. You're amazing," Laly said admiringly.

Another limousine's arrived. This is the bridal car.

"Jen, we can start now," she said to Jenny.

Jenny went inside, and then the music begins.

The maid of honor walks first.

Then the three pairs followed. Followed by the ring bearer and the flower girl.

Then the last is the bride, escorted by her father.

She and Laly are the last to get inside.

The ceremony has gone smoothly.

When the minister pronounced:

"Now before the people who have assembled here tonight, and in as much as you have each pledged to the other your lifelong commitment, love, and devotion, I now pronounce you husband and wife.

Those whom God has joined together, let no one put asunder.

You may now kiss each other to seal these promises."

When Josef lifted the veil to kiss his bride. She couldn't hold her tears. It dropped. She's so happy watching a woman dream of a wedding fulfilled.

Then as the music played, they cheered for the newlywed. She called the head chief that the ceremony is finished. They will be there in less than an hour.

Jenny went ahead already to supervise the catering.
