After one ring, Olga picked up the phone instantly. She saw from the caller ID that it's Briar's number.

"What's up, Princess Aurora?" she teased.

"Olgaaa!" She wants to strangle her friend's neck if she's just in front of her.

"What?" Olga asked, laughing.

"Never call me Princess Aurora. Never ever again."

"But that actually suits you."

"I'm serious, Olga. Don't call me by that name again." She paused. "By the way, I called to check if Aunt Lenna has arrived."

"She called a while ago. She said that she might not be going to be here in another few days until she can walk. She sprained her ankle. So they extended their stay at her son's apartment."

"That's bad." She blinks and shakes her head as if she's in front of Olga. She was almost tempted to spill out, 'What luck for both of us. I fell on the floor with an aching butt. Aunt Lenna has sprained her ankle,' but she controlled herself. It's her secret being to look dumber and stupider in front of Mr. Carvalho.

That man. Whether she tried to ignore the very little memory she has of him, she still can remember the moment he lifted her up and carried her to the couch. His manly scent like apple wood mixed with the after-shaved smells. Hmmm. He looks yummy. She shakes her head at the thought. But who couldn't think about it? His body was firm. When he pressed her to his chest. He has very strong arms.

"Danger zone." She said it loud.

"What's danger zone are you talking about, Briar?" Olga asked her.

She forgot that she was on the phone talking with Olga.

"Nothing; I am just reading something here that I said out loud."

"I thought there's something else. Anyway, have a safe trip tomorrow."

"Thank you!"

"I'll call Aunt Lenna when I arrive in Switzerland. Thanks, Olga. Bye!"

"Bye!"

After she ended the phone call, she packed her things back into her suitcase. She will be leaving early in the morning, and she doesn't want to be in a rush. She just leaves her change of clothes for the flight. The rest she packed it all. She checked everything. Then she lied down and just stared at the ceiling.

Back to her life in Switzerland. She has succeeded with the profession she chooses. She's the well-known wedding planner. She has her own studio. She has staff who works alongside her. She's happy with it. But there's an empty space in her heart that no one can fill. She'll be turning twenty-nine in a few more months and still single. It's not that no one has ever noticed her; in fact, she received many date invitations from successful bachelor's in Switzerland. She dated some of them if she thinks he's nice. But there's nothing of all those men that had made her heart race.

What does her heart's looking for? She wants to feel loved and be loved. That's what she's longing for. She's a romantic creature, and she doesn't want to settle based on compatibility.
She wants more than being compatible.

"Maybe there's someone for me out there too."

She closed her eyes and saw Mr. Carvalho. She opened it and blink.

Why, from the moment she laid her eyes on that egotistical man, she couldn't brush it off in her brain? His face is like printed at the back of the lid of her eyes, and when she closes it, she can see him.

She's too old to think that she's got a crush on him, she scolded herself. 'Behave like a lady and behave like a mature one.'

She got up and went to the kitchen. It's better to help Imelda prepare food than to stay in her room and be hunted by Mr. Carvalho's handsome face and gorgeous body.
