Matheus's

It's almost six twenty, and the plane from Switzerland will land in no time.

He's nervous. He feels like he's going for his first job interview.

He just stood there in the waiting area for hours. He checked the ring in his pocket. It's still there. He will do everything this time.

He glanced around to see if he could see Miguel. But he couldn't find him in the crowd of people waiting. Maybe he's late or on the way.

He could hear the aeroplane landing now. And in a few minutes the passengers will come out from the airplane. He will stand in front of the big screen so he can see Briar immediately. He filled his lungs with air and walked to the arrival area.

Almost half an hour later he saw the passengers walking out from the immigration and towards the exit. Hands in his pockets. He focused his eyes on the screen. He doesn't want to miss Briar.

He saw her. His heart jumped at the sight of her. He could see her walking towards the exit. She's beautiful whether casual or formal. She will be in front soon.
He walked towards the arrival so Briar could see him. She's coming.

When he saw her coming out, he called out her name.

She turned to find him, and she walked towards him; he walked towards her too.

He was very happy, and he was the first person the woman saw. He was even happier because she knew him even though he was a bit far.

They were still talking when someone called her name.

It's Miguel.

"Miguel!" Briar called back to him.

Miguel approached them and was accompanied by a woman. Miguel introduced the woman he was with. He said that this is his future wife. Her name is Lora.

Then Lora asked who he was.

"Her fiancé!" He immediately said, shaking hands with the couple.

He saw that Miguel's eyes stared at Briar's hands, so he dug in his pocket and took out the ring. And hold Briar's hand.

"Wow! You never told me that you have a boyfriend, Briar?" Miguel said with a teasing tone in his voice. He looked at him and said.

Briar didn't speak anymore. He suddenly became worried that she might get angry at what he had said. So, he just said that he would bring Briar to them later.

After they said goodbye. Briar turned to him.

He tried to explain it well to her when she asked him, What's this all about?

They walked to his car parked in the parking area. He opened the compartment and put Briar's luggage inside. He opened the passenger's door, but Briar stopped his hand.

"You can tell me here why you told them we're engaged."

"Briar, I love you!"

Her tears were racing down her cheeks.

"Please don't cry." He pulled her into his arms. He doesn't know what to say. So he just let her cry in his arms. After a few more seconds. He felt that she had stopped crying. And she moved slowly away from his arms.

He cupped her face, and he bent down to kiss her. She didn't protest. He deepened his kiss. He wanted more; he wanted to dig deeper; he only feels the love for her, not lust.

When they parted their lips. He looked her in her eyes, wiping the tears with his thumbs. Only now did he feel that he wanted to fill her with love. He didn't want her to have tears in her eyes unless it was for happiness. All he wants is to hold her in his arms. And let her feel his love for her.

"I love you, since the first day I saw you, and I'm sorry if I mistook you for a maid. I already know everything. Olga told me why you were the one cleaning my house. Maybe it's the destiny. You have to be there, and I have to see you," he said.

She only nodded.

"Let's go home," he said and turned on the engine of his car.

"Miguel already booked a hotel for me," she said.

He's actually planning to bring her into his home. But since Miguel already booked a hotel room for her, he will bring her there.

There is plenty of time for him to show everything to her. For now he will support the woman. He knows now that she loves him because of the kiss they have shared a while ago. He will wait for her patiently.

Thankful that she didn't reject him.

Because of that he will only do the right thing.

He envies those who are getting married today.

First Josef and Caren.

Now Miguel and Lora.

Next will be him and Briar.

He couldn't help but smile.

He saw that the woman had been staring at him while he was driving. Though she didn't speak, there is something running in her thoughts. It's mutual, because he too is planning and forming decisions already. And he will make it happen.

After the wedding of Miguel and Lora, he will ask her to get married as well. He knows that he is fast, but where else this love story goes, of course he will make sure that it will lead to marriage. If it didn't, then it's better for him to die.

He just loved her so much.

When they arrived at the hotel that was booked for him. He just told the valet that he won't take long. He will only send her to her room because she is tired from a long trip.

He will let her take a rest first. They will have many days and even years to be together. He knows that sitting in an aeroplane for over twelve hours is tiring. Actually, if it's not because he wanted to see her, he will not be going to travel with his friends in Switzerland.

It was the love for her that made him endure that long journey.

He opened the door for her and helped her come out, then he opened the boot of his car and pulled out her luggage.

He spoke to the concierge to get her keycard.

"Let's go to your room," he said, taking her hand and clinging it to his arm.

He tapped the keycard and helped her get in.

"Have some rest; I'll visit you later," he said, kissing her on her cheek.

"Thank you!" she replied, smiling at him.

He wasn't satisfied with just kissing her cheek, so he quickly grabbed her face and pressed it into a passionate kiss. He wanted to see if she would object to his kiss. but she didn't. It aroused him, but before he lost control, he had to stop. He is catching his breath, both of them.

"Why did you stop?" she asked in confusion while catching her breath.

"I don't want to rush you into it, sweetheart. I'm nearly on the verge of taking you, and I wanted it to be special. I want to do it on our wedding night, not tonight," he said while holding her in her face.

She nodded.

He kissed her forehead and said goodbye. He went out the door quickly before he made a wrong move again. He loved and respected this woman, so he wanted her to be pure.
