Twelve

Matheus' POV

Because of their little celebration that night, the four bachelors are worn out. None of the four are awake. They're all lying on the carpet in the living room. Cans of beers in all places. Some chip wrappers and pistachio nuts shells.

He had a dream of the moment he lifted Aurora from the floor and carried her to the couch. 

"I guess you had a bad fall, sweetheart,' He said

'Yes, it's painful.' Aurora replied.

'Hmmmm, I've got the good medicine for that.' He said, and then he bent down and kissed her lips. She responded in his kisses.

"Mmmmm Aurora."

Then maybe Rafael heard him and opened his eyes; he has this devious smile on his lips, and he replied to his utterance in his sleep.

"Yes, baby," in a moaning sound, copying a woman's voice and touching his lips.

He opened his eyes and saw Rafael staring at him, grinning.

"What the hell!" he got up. He's disgusted with Rafael's closeness, like he is going to kiss him.

"Who's Aurora?" Rafael asked.

"What? Who's Aurora?" he replied annoyingly.

"You're dreaming, and you uttered a name, Aurora," Rafael replied, still smiling.

"That's just in a dream; everybody experiences it," he said. He annoyed 

"Oh yeah? But seems you two are intimate in your dream? Is she just your girl in your dream? An imaginary girlfriend, I suppose?" Punching his arm.

"Think what you want to think; I don't give a damn," he said. He got up. Went his bedroom and straight to the bathroom.

He dreamed of her. 

They were intimate. 

In his dream, she kissed him back. 

Seems so real.

He forgot to call Shine Bright yesterday to know if Mrs. Ferreira has arrived. 

He will call later, after he finishes his shower.

He was consumed by the presence of his friends. And their little celebration. 

Do they drink for Rafael's being back to bachelorhood, or did they sympathize with him because he was brokenhearted? As far as they know, Rafael's feeling for Margaret isn't shallow.

He stayed a bit longer in the shower. 

His head's pounding. 

He drank a little more than enough last night.

After a few more minutes, he wrapped himself in a big towel and found a change of clothes to wear in the closet. He took the white tee with collar and paired it with his faded blue jeans. He just combed his hair with his hands and finally came out of his room down to the living room. Rafael and Lucas aren't there anymore, but Flavio has already changed and has a shower too. He is also now tidying up the living room.

"Hey! Morning!" He greeted him.

"Morning to you too," he replied. And help Flavio pick up beer cans.

"I heard you and Rafael bantering this morning. What's that all about?" Flavio asked.

"He's teasing me about my dream. He said that I am uttering a woman's name in my sleep." He replied

"His moment, huh?" Flavio just commented about their friend Rafael

"Yeah, guess you're right," he agreed

"I'm planning to go down to the city this morning. If you guys wanted to go or just stay here and play, I will check on Mrs. Ferreira at Shine Bright Housekeeping," he asked Flavio

"Let's see what the two monsters upstairs have to say; I ask them," Flavio suggested

"I can't believe we drank all of this." He lifted the plastic bag filled with beer cans.

"Yeah, it's been awhile we hadn't drank this much. I can't believe I woke up in the carpet," Flavio said laughing.

"Same here, and even horrified when I opened my eyes seeing Rafael towering at me like a sick gay dude," he said. 

"I heard my name," Rafael said while waking down the stairs.

"You scared me though. I thought because of your broken heart you decided to be gay." He pointed him and laughed.

"No way! I'm not interested in a cock; I still prefer chicks," Rafael replied, doing a gross reaction

They were laughing when Lucas joined them. He too has changed and had a shower as well.

"What's funny, guys, Did I miss something?" He asked

"Rafael reveals his true color; he actually likes you, Lucas, not Margaret, he said, grinning.

And Rafael moves forward, going to hug Lucas. 

Sticking out his pouty lips for a kiss.

Lucas pushed him disgusted.

"Eww, Rafael. You're gay?" he asked in disbelief.

They all burst out laughing, holding their stomachs.

The reaction of Lucas when Rafael is going to kiss him is so funny.

When the laughter died down, Flavio spoke up.

"Matheus and I will go down to the city; would you guys want to come with us or stay here?" he asked Rafael and Lucas

"You mean you leave me here alone with this? What if he will rape me?" pointed to Rafael, said Lucas.

And then they're laughing again.

With that, they all decided to go with Flavio and him.

They used the pickup truck since it is more convenient. In case they come up with buying some groceries. They can put it behind the truck.
