Reason 21: The truth may hurt but it's better than lies.

Dear Esther,

Why are you apologizing? You did nothing wrong.

I've been preparing for the last letter now. I plan to tell you everything.

Why I left without explaination.

Why I distanced myself and why I shut you out.

Remember the party from the reason 1? Where you were high and drunk? You were never a good drinker so when you drink, a different side of you comes out.

The different side of you confessed to me.

The different side of you asked me why am I hurting you.

The different side of you asked me if I felt the same way,

I said yes.

And we kissed.

The next morning, I was hoping you'd remember everything - scratch that, I don't know if you remembered anything or not from that night.

You woke up the next morning with a terrible hangover and asked if you did anything stupid. I smiled to you and almost said that we kissed. But then, you cut off and said something that hurt me.

"Last night was a mistake. Forget whatever I said or did."

What you said, broke me. I thought you knew and asked me to forget what happened so I start ignorning you.

I start distancing myself from you because whenever you're around, I can't help but want to smash my lips agaisnt yours.

I start shutting you out because I can't stand being in the same room with you when I remember bits of what happened very clearly.

There, I said it. 3 years of denying and I finally said it.

It doesn't mean I didn't regret what I did. I still do because I didn't grab the chance when there was one.

Now, it's gone and I'm broken.

I'm a wreck.

You're gone and I don't want to accept it.

I don't want to accept reality that someone stole your heart and I lost you.

Please do remember, I love you and I always will.
