Reason 27: You were like home to me.

These few days had been good yet suffocating. When I look into her eyes, I still see the home that I had a few years back then. I know we wouldn't be the same – it's never going to be the same.

But I still care and I know she does too. I always thought how life would be without Esther and now that she's really out the picture, I never wished I had asked myself that question.

When you see someone slipping out your fingers, and you tried to hold on, clinging onto them but they wanted free so you had to let them go, because you love them too much.

"Kade?" her voice rang out through the empty room.

"In here," I answered as I was looking ahead the windows.

She smiled weirdly towards me, "Why are you here?"

"Just thinking."

"Hey, Esther?" I called out to her.

"Yeah?" she said as she looked at me.

I sighed. "I want to say sorry for all the hurt I've put you through," I start, "And it's honestly so brave of you to come up here and talk to me like nothing happened – like I never hurt you and like we never had something between us."

I took a deep breath, "Everyday, images of you haunted my mind and I think a lot of my voicemails are jamming up your phone. I was crazy – I was crazy for you and I wanted to know where you are."

I finally found the courage to look up to her eyes and said the words I've always wanted to say, "I love you. It took me so long for me to realize this but I really do. I never knew what it was life without you until you left me and I was terrified and thank God you're back."

She chuckled, "I never said it was easy, it was a hell lot of time for me to convince myself to talk to you."

"I moved on, Kade. And maybe, you should too."

A/N: I watched Now is Good today and it was so sad, I cried. :-( I got 'I Know You Care' from the movie and I recommend you watching it!!
