"They're just sitting there!" Brittany complained from inside, looking at the two best friends studying together outside.
"And talking." Eleanor added.
"If Simon likes her, I'll make sure he gets her." Brittany decided.
"Brittany, he's already got her right now. Let them revise." Eleanor tried to persuade Brittany.
"It's going terrible!" Brittany whined.
"I think it looks sweet." Eleanor gazed admiringly at the couple outside.
"Oh, this just won't do." Brittany groaned.
She grabbed a radio and opened the door, causing Jeanette and Simon to turn their heads to her.
"Oh, sorry. Don't mind me." Brittany giggled.
"Brittany, what are you doing?" Jeanette asked, irritated slightly.
Simon began to feel nervous, knowing Brittany had a scheme. What if something went wrong?
"Oh, nothing, just thought music could help. You know? They say it's good to study with music." Brittany gave a lame excuse.
"Uh, yes, it's true but we won't be needing that." Simon assured her, gesturing at Brittany to retreat by slicing his neck invisibly with his hand accompanied by shaking his head.
"Brittany, can we be undisturbed?" Jeanette begged slightly, taking by Simon's tone that he did not like whatever Brittany was doing.
"Oh, alright then." Brittany sighed.
"But I'm leaving it out here in case you want some music." She smiled sweetly, walking back in.
"Well, you almost messed it up. Neither Jeanette nor Simon seem to like the idea. How would we even know Simon truly truly likes her like having a crush on her, or if she would even like him back?" Eleanor questioned Brittany with her arms folded.
"Uh pup pup pup, hush, my little Ellie." Brittany revealed a remote.
"Hehe, Brittany can be quite nosey." Jeanette chuckled nervously, slightly panicking.
What if Brittany was aware of the weirdly deep attraction she felt for Simon? She'd ruin everything! What if Simon did not feel the same at all?
"Y-yeah, very." Simon frowned at the house where he knew Brittany was obviously in.
He's frowning, this isn't a good sign, Jeanette thought to herself in fear.
"So, let's just, um, continue." Jeanette suggested.
"Hand me that remote!" Eleanor struggled with Brittany over the remote inside the treehouse.
"No!" Brittany protested.
In the midst of fighting, Eleanor pressed a button. The radio sitting outside began to play a pop song, startling the two best friends outside.
"Oops." Eleanor muttered.
"No, that's not it!" Brittany pressed stop.
"This is the one-"
"Leave it at stop, Brittany!" Eleanor demanded.
"No, they have to hear the first disk!" Brittany argued, and the two sisters began fighting again.
The radio outside, meanwhile, began to switch music between the number of disks within it, causing Simon and Jeanette to feel super awkward with each other.
"I can't study while this is going on." Simon muttered to Jeanette.
Believing that Simon clearly hated the idea of them being a romantic couple slightly embarrassed Jeanette herself.
