A/N: A massive thanks to you guys who have shown your support! Would like to take this opportunity to introduce a book written by Angel_Chipmunk titled "Really?". It's kind of the same theme, except it revolves around Jeanette, Simon and Brittany. I feel honoured to have provided inspiration! XD

It was the last school week, and everyone was asking each other to the school dance. Alvin was conflicted between Brittany and Jeanette. He sat in class, pondering about the outcomes if he went with either of them.
Alvin and Brittany strolled into the school hall, with Brittany dressed in a fancy pink dress.
"Alvin, fetch me a drink will you?" Brittany tapped her palm in a professional manner.
"What am I, a butler?" Alvin grumbled.
"Go get it, or I'm dancing with another boy." Brittany scoffed.
"Then I would have lost my date!" Alvin frowned at her.
"That's the point, you idiot. Now go." Brittany commanded.
Alvin shuddered, thinking about it. Brittany would be a control queen. That would not do. Jeanette seemed like the type who would be more settled down and just go with whatever her date would want to do.
Alvin opened the door for Jeanette like a gentlemen.
"Please, lose the glasses." He took off her spectacles.
"But Alvin, I can't see." Jeanette protested, waving her hands in the air in search of her glasses.
"I'll guide you, my princess." He held her hand, trying to be romantic.
As they walked into the middle of the dance floor, Jeanette tripped over the leg of a table, tumbling into a mess of accidents with other students.
"Gah!" Alvin shrieked, snapping out of his daydream.
"Yes, Alvin?" Miss Smith questioned, her old and wrinkly face holding a menacing glare.
"N-nothing, nothing." Alvin sat upright, slightly shuddering at both ideas of going with either one of the girls he was considering.
Upon knowing many were asking Brittany to the dance, he decided to ask Jeanette in the most romantic way possible. Perhaps it would work out if she kept her glasses on on the actual day. Simon looked at his mischievous brother questioningly, pondering what he could be up to, but brushed it off to focus in class.
After school, Simon and Jeanette were chatting as they made their way to Jeanette's locker so that she could bring back a few books. Simon was facing difficulty mustering up courage to ask Jeanette to the dance, but, he was not too worried. Alvin was not around at all.
"Brittany was going on and on about how there isn't enough time to choose the perfect dress and I was like oh shut up Britt." Jeanette shared with Simon.
"You know last weekend when I followed her shopping, she bought a bunch of dresses and now she can't choose among the ones she bought." Jeanette added, rolling her eyes.
"I mean like, there's time to do this. We have a whole week. That should be enough time to pick out one dress, don't you think?" Jeanette shook her head.
"I agree. Alvin too, has been suggesting to himself who to take on a date. But something tells me he has a specific someone in mind." Simon rolled his eyes in disgust.
