A/N: Gosh they're prioritising and showing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles because of the upcoming movie and I can't watch Alvinnn! And The Chipmunks on Nickelodeon for the whole week. How sad *sigh*

Simon could have sworn he felt something uneasy inside of him when Alvin admitted to enjoying spending time with Jeanette.
"Yeah well, what's your problem with that?" Alvin asked.
"Everything! You fight with Brittany every day, you don't even bother about Eleanor, how can you possibly take care of Jeanette? You think girls are a game!" Simon threw his hands up in frustration.
"Chill out, Simon!" Alvin raised his voice.
"Alvin, Simon, stop fighting, please!" Jeanette called as she walked into the room.
Simon quickly hid the remote out of Jeanette's sight.
"Be a good brother, both of you, to one another." She commanded, waving her stick.
"Um, s-sorry A-Alvin." Simon apologised, but kept a slight frown.
"M-me too, S-Simon." Alvin sheepishly answered.
"Oh, the stars look so beautiful tonight! We should all gaze at the stars." Jeanette suggested.
"Oh, I-I can't Jeanette." Simon uneasily said, knowing Alvin was right about him having to hide the remote so that Jeanette would not be able to know the truth.
"I have to go to bed." Simon explained.
"Oh, do you have to on this day?" Jeanette pulled a pleading look.
"That's okay, Jeanette. I can do that." Alvin offered.
"You will?" Jeanette's enthusiasm was shot back into her body, and she cheered, skipping out to the gazebo.
"Why the sudden... Interest?" Simon asked, feeling extremely lost with an unexplainably hurt expression.
"I-I-I'm sorry Simon, I just got tired of Brittany's drama and, Jeanette just seems like a sweet friend to be around." I may be having a little crush." Alvin scratched the back of his head.
Simon frowned upon hearing the word crush fall from Alvin's mouth.
"You change crushes like how you change clothes." Simon said sharply with a tone of disgust.
"Alvin? You coming up?" Jeanette called.
"Um- coming!" Alvin called back.
"Look, Si, I'm sorry. I know she's your best friend and us together would be a very weird idea. You probably think I'm too low for her, and she's too good for me." Alvin sighed, rubbing the back of his head.
"We'll continue this chat some other time." Alvin rushed off.
Simon stood there, speechless. He just found out that Alvin had a crush on his best friend. There was a pang of jealousy shooting through his body. His view on Alvin was no longer an annoying brother, but a competitor. Simon leaned against the wall in disappointment, and slumped down.
He could hear them chat very well up there.
"This was the best birthday ever..." Jeanette spoke.
"I'm glad you're happy today." He heard Alvin speak.
"But, there's still something missing..." Jeanette trailed off.
"What's that?" Alvin asked.
"I didn't get to meet Ammon today." Jeanette sighed.
