The next day, the two brothers woke up pretty late.

"Well, yesterday was a lot of work." Alvin remarked, stretching.

"Yeah, it was, wasn't it?" Simon agreed, putting on his spectacles.

"So, about last night... Are we cool? I mean, we are pretty even." Alvin chuckled nervously, instantly bringing down Simon's mood.

"You won't like her for long, I guarantee. So I suggest, you don't even try to make her fall for you." Simon folded his arms and frowned at him.

"Simon, we both don't know that." Alvin argued.

"Oh, I can just calculate the chances using probability. First, you fell for Brittany when we met the chipettes, which lasted for a week until you discovered she was sassy. Then, you started liking Jenny for two weeks, before you realised that she was very loyal to her boyfriend. Then, it became Vanessa for three weeks, but then you dumped her just because she and Derek talked. Those girls are smart enough to not like you for long. Now, Jeanette?" Simon asked.

"Are you saying she's stupid?" Alvin raised an eyebrow.

"No, but she is very naive and gullible. That's why she deserves someone who will truly take care of her, not play her. There's no way you are breaking her heart. I'm not letting that happen." Simon lectured Alvin.

In the middle of their argument, Alvin's phone buzzed. He took his phone from the side table to check.

"I-it's Brittany. S-O-S." He read out.

"We're not even dressed." Simon commented.

The two brothers stared at each other.

"I'm using the bathroom first!" They both yelled, racing to the bathroom.

After they both got dressed, they walked out of the house and headed to the direction of the treehouse.

They heard giggling out of the blue, stopping in their tracks.

"Um, Jeanette?" Simon recognised her laugh.

"You can't see me! I'm invisible." Jeanette, wearing a wizard hat, popped out of the bushes.

Alvin looked at her.

"Right..." Alvin raised an eyebrow.

"You can see me?" Jeanette's smile dropped.

"Um, no- no, we can't. We're just looking at the bushes that rustled. Um, where are you Jeanette?" Simon played along upon sensing the vulnerability in Jeanette's voice.

"But Simon, she's right-" Alvin began but Simon nudged him hard.

"Nowhere, I don't see her." Alvin faked an astonished look.

Jeanette silently crept behind the two boys.

"Oh boy, where is she?" Alvin asked Simon, not eager to play along.

"Gee, I-I don't know, Alvin." Simon scratched the back of his neck, trying to ignore the fact that Jeanette was tiptoeing to be behind them both.

"Boo!" She yelled, holding their shoulders.

"Ah!" The two brothers faked their fright, running to the chipettes' house.
