Cami's P.O.V.

My feet glued to the ground, I stared into those cold ice blue eyes. My feet felt glued to the ground under his intense gaze. I thought that maybe... just maybe today would be a good day. It was a Saturday , meaning a day where I could actually go somewhere that I wouldn't get beat up.

But, this was the only day that I could actually go out and they left me alone. My neighborhood was quiet on the weekdays, loud on the weekends, because kids would constantly host house parties on the weekends. Their parents didn't care, they had enough money to have one every day if they wanted to. This whole town was practically rich, well at least all my neighbors were. I am too, but I don't take the money for granted. But that never stopped them from giving me daily beatings or daily words of hate. It didn't matter if you were rich or poor, they would still mess with you.

But Louis didn't care about when he would make fun of me. He'd do it any time or day. And right now, I didn't need this.

His eyes showed no emotion, his lips holding a smirk, while he stepped even closer invading my space. This time I could feel his breath directly on my lips since we were the same height. I moved my feet and took two steps back, running into the alley next to me.

Shit.

This alley didn't have anywhere it lead to and it was a dead end. I cursed at myself and turned around, seeing him a couple steps away from me. I backed up into the brick wall, hoping to get away, but it was no use. He just narrowed his eyes and smirked, stepping as close to me as he could get. He put one arm on the wall beside my head leaning into me. He bit his lip with a smile and roamed his eyes over my innocent body.

I don't feel comfortable right now, clad in high waisted baby blue shorts, white toms, and a frilly tank. It made my skin more revealing to him, so if he wanted to hit me, he had even more of a skin option. He never hit me severely, but his friends did. And he only hit me when I made him angry, which was once a month or so. Sometimes, he has a look in his eye of guilt, but he ignores it. I can tell.

He licks his lips and moves a strand of hair behind my ear, and I shudder at the contact. He smirks knowingly, and holds up his phone to my face.

"You know, I missed you over the summer. Got your number from your mom. Apparently we're still 'the best of friends'. Did you miss me?" He speaks slickly, lowering his tone and looking me in the eye. I look down from his eyes, but he moves even closer to me, grabbing my chin with his hand and forcing me to look at his eyes. "I said, did you miss me?" He growls.

I take my hand and shove his grasp off my chin and looked away again. His hand squeezes my thigh and I whimper at the contact. I bite down on my tounge in pain, my eyes getting glossy and I look up at him in fear.

"Answer me goddamnit!" He yelled. I just nodd and a tear slides down my cheek. His finger lifts to under my chin, tilting it up. "I don't like when you cry. Why did you run away from me? You know I don't like it when you run away." He growled.

His warm breath runs over my neck and a soft pair of lips touch the skin. A choked sob escapes my mouth and I feel so vulnerable. "Why did you run away? Answer me Cami." He mumbles the words against my neck.

I don't answer, but just shake my head and more tears fall across my cheeks. I feel a pinch on my neck and instantly I know he has bitten my neck, leaving a hicky.

Apparently I was his. If I said I wasn't, he would hurt me more. This was his marking. It's like I'm his doll and I can't help it. He hits me and teases me for fun.

I had one boyfriend in sophmore year, but he told him that I was taken and he would kill him if he went near me. He told every boy that. I don't understand why he cares or the reason he bullies me and then, won't let me have one good thing in my life. It's like he was saving me. For him? Pfh... that would never happen.
