This chapter is dedicated to the song "The Cave", by Mumford and Sons.

The rest of the night passes by surprisingly smoothly, with only a few touches here and there from Louis.

I still can't believe what he is doing. He knows what I'm running from and now my demons will be following me once again. Depression, confusion, anxiety, all my internal battles I'm leaving behind, but it won't be that way anymore.

The moment I wake up from my rest, I hit my alarm clock, realizing it's my second to last day here. Knowing most likely, people will bombard me with questions today, I make sure to put on a fake smile before leaving the house. No one ever knows what's behind the smile.

Even the happiest people never exist on the inside.

My fingers curl around the steering wheel as I turn into the parking lot and my eyes graze over the parking lot. The first group of teens I see are the "popular" clan. Liam, Niall, Zayn, Brian, and Louis. A girl with lilac hair is joined with Zayn, and she giggles while he kisses her forehead.

I'm happy for him.

Clearing my throat, my hands find my bag in the backseat, and it slips over my shoulder with ease. I take the key out of the ignition and take one step out of the car, inhaling a sharp breath.

Here we go.

I slam my car door, locking it, and start walking towards the school entrance, when surprisingly no one says anything.

I breathe a sigh of relief and walk into the school, teens already scattered all through the hallways.

My feet carry me quickly to my locker and I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. My eyes glance down at the name and I smile.

Turn around.

Luke x

My heel of my foot turns, my body following. A smile makes its way to my face when I spot Luke, with three boys at his side. My eyebrows furrow and he says something to them, before walking toward the girl in front of him.

"Well hello Lucifer." I tease and he mocks shock but pulls me into a hug, chuckling along the way.

Luke and I have been texting a lot recently. It's not like that, neither of us have an interest in each other that way. In fact, him and his friends have started a new band called 5 Seconds of Summer. They have a small group of fans and I don't even get why their name is what it is. Luke confessed that the name was thought up over drunken beer pong, but he still loves it nonetheless. Luke's and the boys' parents want to send them to a boarding school pretty soon, because they predict the band will take off pretty soon. And I wouldn't be surprised.

Luke has the voice of a god.

I'm sure the others do too but I haven't heard them sing yet. But Luke has promised me a copy of their next album, first one and all its glory.

"So I brought you a little something." He pulls away and a little silver box is held in his hand.

"Luke... you didn't have to-"

"No, it's your going away present. Plus, i know you want to be reminded of this sweet ass face everyday, so just open it please." He smirks and I take the box in my hands, lifting the top off of it and I look at the necklace in confusion.

"What's the charm supposed to be?" I ask. It looks like a tally mark thingy.

"It's four tally marks and then another slash to make 5. That's the official symbol of 5 Seconds of Summer." He explains taking the necklace out of the box and hung behind me to put it on.
