Luke P.O.V.

"So, a long as I'm walking home with you, let's get to know one another. How come I've never really spoke to you around school before now?" Cami spoke, smiling up at me, her dimples prominent.

"Well, you've always seemed too popular and wallflowers like us, we tend to stay away from people like that." I shrugged and she raised an eyebrow at me, stopping in disbelief.

"Me? Popular? I'm anything but." She shook her head, a chuckle under her breath and started walking again.

"You sure about that? It seems like everyone knows you."

"Not in a good way." I heard her say under her breath. I ignored it assuming she really didn't want to talk about it.

"Sorry for asking." I spoke, and I bit my lip feeling embarrassed.

"It's seriously okay. You're turn." She assured but I can tell she feels kind of crappy.

"Uh, what was your first impression of me?" I asked. I'm hoping it was that I was hot and sweet, but she could just think I'm a-

"Badass. Rebel. Self-conceited." She shrugged and I immediately frowned.

"Way to be blunt."

"You asked me a question and I answered."

"Well you didn't have to be so fucking mean about it, you could of just said one word Camilla." I narrowed my eyes at her annoyed and she stopped walking as I crossed my arms.

"Don't ever call me by my full name. Got it, Lucas?" She clenched her teeth and pointed a finger in my chest. This whole conversation has gone from playful to serious in a matter of seconds.

Her eyes sparkled under her long eyelashes, the blue prominent and even like this she looked cute. I don't mind that her finger is digging into my chest. I like her touch.

"You know you're cute when you're angry." I held her wrist in my palm in front of my chest.

"Well I'm about to be fucking adorable in a moment." She spoke and I laughed which made her face soften. "Shut up."

She started walking again but more quickly and I ran to catch up with her.

"Can I ask you a question?" I asked, trying to look down at her face, but her long bang hid half of it.

"Go on ahead, I mean it's not like you need permission." She smiled bitterly and I pinched her cheek where her dimple shown through. "I will bite your hand off."

"Okay, okay. Are you the type that has boys and drama revolving around your life?" I asked nervously.

Whispers about her and that whole jumping on the table thing at lunch a month ago, has made me assume she is. First douchebag Louis, then new guy Harry, I mean really? Is she that irresistable? I had a friend named Kelsey before this that was the type who was always in drama and always had a new boyfriend. She moved away a year ago because of this whole virginity rumor that started. It was horrible. The same thing won't happen to Cami and I plan to prevent that.

"Drama? I don't know if you can call it that. And yeah I've had my fair share of boyfriends.. but it's not like I'm a slut." She answered quietly. Her vans scuffed loudly on the sidewalk as she walked, her arm ever so often brushing against mine.

"Good. Just do me a favor? Try not to fall in love with me." I smirked, biting my lip. She looked up at me with a raised eyebrow and shook her head.

"Egotistical. And trust me, I won't." She glared at me and I let out a laugh.

"It's happened before, I mean I'm just irresistible." I shrugged and she shoved me. "Sorry it's in my genes."

"Okay, maybe I'll admit you're hot, but that personality will get you no where."

"My personality has gotten me a lot of places. A job, a girlfriend... in bed.."

A rush of cold hit my back as she shoved me again, this time making me land on the cold sidewalk. My eyes caught her face full of shock, her hands covering her mouth as she laughed. A slight blush covered her cheeks, her scarf covering most of her mouth also. Her mouth was practically one of the most beautiful things I've heard as she heaved out a breath into the cool air, creating a mist of white, as her head tilted back.

"Luke- I'm so- I'm so sorry!" She laughed extending her hand. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm cool." I shook my head from being focused on her features any longer. I don't mind being pushed down by Cami, she can push me down a many times as she wants. My hand grabbed onto her warm one pulling me up into my feet.

"Uh well this is my stop. I would invite you in, but my mom has a meeting right now with the board of executives or something." She smiled, her white teeth gleaming. Her nose scrunched up a bit at the cold and I wanted to wrap my arms around her.

But I didn't.

Way to keep some self control Luke.

"It's okay, I have to go pack for my plane to Canada, my family and I are having Thanksgiving up there with some relatives." I assured and she stuffed her hands in her sweater pocket.

"Oh okay. Thanks for walking me home. I'll uh, see you tomorow?" She asked, backing up slightly into her yard.

"Uh yeah." I answered as she turned around. "Hey Cam?"

"Yeah?" She asked turning around again.

"Can I text you later?" I asked and she modded, smiling. "What's your number?"

"457-9516." She told me and I took out my phone, dialing her number and I heard a Ellie Goulding ringtone go off. She reached inside her bag and her phone came into view in her palm.

"Now you have my number and I have yours." I smiled crookedly at her and she rolled her eyes, a silly smile on her face.

"Goodbye Luke." She yelled turning around, hopping onto her porch.

"Bye Camilla." I laughed, turning to walk the other direction.

There is this giddy feeling inside that just won't go away.
