Chapter 28

(Peridot's pov☘~)

My eyes force themselves open, and the first thing I see is Steven. He's looking at me with stars in his eyes. "You dreamt about me?" He asked excitedly. "I thought... That wasn't real?" I questioned. "No, a dream isn't real. It's like thoughts, except it feels real and only happens when your sleeping." He explained. "Then yes, I did dream about you. But how did you know?"
"I watched the dream projections coming from your gem. Pearl had them once!"
"How much did you see?!" I squeaked, fearful of what he had seen.
"I'm pretty sure all of it." Steven replied.

I groaned in embarrassment. He wasn't supposed to see my dreams! Why would he watch my dreams anyway? "I can make your dreams a reality, though." Steven grins at me playfully. "No no no!" Steven starts to tickle me. "Steven-hahahahahaha-stop!" I laugh.

When he had stopped, we laid there for a few minutes. "I can't get to sleep. Maybe it's 'cause we went to bed so early." Steven muttered to me. "Let's go out again, maybe this time the Ferris wheel will be better." I suggest. "I don't really like the Ferris wheel, that guy was really weird..." Steven wrinkled his nose in disgust at the Ferris wheel attendants' actions.

I flip the blanket off of me and roll of the bed, letting myself hit the floor with a thump. "Let's go out anyway." I sit up and Steven gets up too. "Alright." Steven smiles at me, "I've heard that a night pool opened up down town. Do you want to fuse, or not?"
"Do you?" I throw the question back at him. "Honestly, I would love to see what you look like in a bathing suit, but being Stevidot is so much fun!"

    "Bathing suit is the suit you wear when you swim?" I ask, just to make sure. "Yep." Steven replies. "Let's go as Stevidot this time, we can go separate next time." Steven starts to pout after I say that. "You'll still basically see me in a bathing suit, Steven." I try to convince the teenage boy. "Your right. Although it's still not exactly the same..." He says the last part under his breath, but I still hear. I playfully punch him.

   We climb down to the living room. Steven flings me into the air carefully, and I do a double flip. As I crash into Steven, a bright light flashes. Not only is it our gems, it's a door opening.

(Stevidots pov🐉~)

  

      "I can't believe you guys!" A soaking wet Pearl stand there at her door with three hysterical gems. They freeze as they see me. I stand there awkwardly, part of me wanting to panic, and part of me knowing they were going to panic.
"H-Hi?" I wave, starting to smile as Amethyst does, and afterwards smirking at Emerald. Fusion so disgusting, now? "Fusion so disgusting, now, Emerald? I'm fabulous!" I strike a pose. Emerald just stares, her eyes wide and her mouth agape. Pearl let out a surprised cry after recovering from her shock. Lapis doesn't seem to care. "Umm..." I look longingly towards the door, "Bye!"

(30 minutes of walking later)

      Finally, we're here! Different colored lights lit up the pool, I noticed after I had paid to go in. I'm always so prepared to pay for stuff. My body lights up and forms swim wear onto my body. I look at my reflection in a part of the pool no one is filling up. I have my normal T-Shirt, but shorter sleeves, and loose shorts that seemed to be made out of the same material as Peridot's suit. My suit is so soft, isn't it?  It's very soft. I rub my hands over my shorts. Soft. Lets go to the diving board! Diving board? I'll show you. I skip happily over to the diving board, which had an area that was cut off from the rest and you weren't aloud to swim in. The diving board itself had multicolored lights lining the sides of it.

   As I got in line for the diving board, Sour Cream, who was the DJ, and whose name I don't understand, put on the song 'Me Myself and I'. After the five people in front of me jumped off the diving board, I got on. A pang of fear struck me, we were so high up. I don't really want to do this... Aww, come on! If you do, I'll give you a kiss later! I leapt off the diving board and dived into the water. I went under, but soon my head came back up. I paddled towards the latter out of the pool and climbed out. I flipped my now flat hair proudly. Do I get a kiss now? I would've kissed you anyways. You clod! Hehehe...

(Stevens pov🐲~)

     Just like last time, we unfuse kissing. I don't mind. "Steven?" I hear a familiar voice say. It's not Peridot's, though.

Cliffhanger! Yeah, you probably know who it is, but if you don't, I'm not going to spoil it. Anyways, most of you want Emerald to join, and to date Amethyst! Which ship name do you prefer, Amerald, or Emethyst?
