4. The Moment of Truth

It has been exactly 3 weeks since I slept with Zach and I have not heard anything from him. He has probably forgotten all about it. I missed my period this month so I am going to take a pregnancy test just to be sure. I went into my bathroom and opened the drawer with the test in it.

I picked up the box and did everything that I had to do. After I was done I sat the test on the counter and waited. I left the bathroom and went into my living room.

Man, this is so nerve racking!

I thought to myself as I sat on my couch. Right, when I sat down I heard a knock on the door.

Who could that be this early in the morning?

I went to open the door and to my surprise it was Zach. He was wearing gym clothes.

"Hey what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I told you I would be checking in on you. May I come in." Zach asked me gesturing inside.

"Sure." I moved out of the way and let Zach walk in.

"So um how are you... I mean are you.." Zach said looking so anxious.

He was sweating bullets, but I think it's because he just got done working out.

"Actually you came just in time I just took a pregnancy test." He started to get pale.

"and...." he said.

"I don't know yet I am about to go check. You can sit here while I go get it." I said.

He nodded and sat down on the couch as I went to the bathroom.

I opened the door and looked at the counter. I walked over and picked it up. It says.............
