27. The Day of Fun

2 weeks later

I woke up with the sun shining in my face. I opened my eyes and looked at the empty side of the bed. Where is Zach? I got up and there was a note on Zach's pillow. I grabbed it.

"Come in the kitchen and see your surprise."

-Zachary

I walked in the kitchen and Zach was dressed and cooking breakfast. "This is a surprise. What did you do?" I said sarcastically. "Nothing I just wanted to surprise you." He said with a smile. "Thank you Zach." I said giving him a kiss.

"Well today is our fun day." Zach said sitting down at the table with are food. "Fun day?" I said confused. "Remember how I made a bet with you about the baby's gender?" I nodded my head. "Well since we are having a boy and a girl it is a tie!" He said happily. I looked at him and laughed.

"So today we are going to get ready for the premiere tomorrow. Im going to get you a dress, your gonna get your hair done, nails, the works. Then after that we are going to dinner." Zach said taking a sip of his coffee.

"But people are going to see us together?" I said eating my fruit.

"Well they are going to find out tomorrow anyways." Zach said finishing his food. "Ok then let me get dressed and we can get going." I said with a smile as I put my plate in the sink.

2 hours later

Zach and I stood out in front of a formal dress store. We walked in and walked to the front desk. "Hello welcome to "Formal Affairs" how my I help you today?" Asked the woman behind the desk. "We are going to a movie premiere and we would like to have matching attire." Zach said with a smile. "Ok I have just the thing follow me please."

We followed the woman to the dressing room area. "Ok ma'am I am going to measure you first. May you please step on the pedestal."

Zach helped me on to the pedestal and the lady measured my height, bust, and stomach.

"Ok sir you are next." Zach helped me down and climbed up so he could be measured. After the lady was done measuring him she asked us what color we would like to wear.

"Blue please." Zach said with a smile. The lady went to go find a suit and a dress. "Are you excited?" Zach asked looking down at me. "Ya I have never been to anything like this before." I said with a smile.

The lady came back with a beautiful Blue dress and a black suit with a blue tie and handkerchief. I went to change into my dress and Zach went to go change into his suit. I came out and looked at myself in the mirror.

I look gorgeous!

I turned to the side and put my hand over my stomach. "Wow." I turned and saw Zach in his suit. I walked over to him and fixed his tie. "You look very handsome Mr.Quinto." I said focusing on his tie.

"You look stunning Mrs.Quinto." Zach said looking down at me. My eyes went wide. Did he just say Mrs.Quinto!? I looked up at him shocked and then he realized his mistake. "I mean Ms.Kelly sorry." He said turning red. "Its ok its ok." I said turning red myself.

That was awkward!

"You both look very nice together." The woman said with a smile. "Thank you very much." I said with a smile. "How much will this all cost?" Zach asked.

"The dress plus the suit." The woman said calculating. "It will be $5,000 for the dress and 14 grand for the suit." She said with a smile. I almost choked. "14 grand? Why the hell does it cost so much? Is it made out of panda?" I said sarcastically. "Layla it's a Designer dress." Zach said pulling me to the side. "I don't care! Zach I will not allow you to by me a dress that costs more than my car!." Layla said with crossing her arms.

Zach's POV

"Layla to be honest we are getting a great deal." I said with a smile. Layla looked up at me. "How is this a good deal?" Layla asked. "Well usually your dress would cost 50 grand." I said with a smile. "50 grand!" She said shocked. "Yep and my suit is usually 100 grand." She looked at me with wide eyes. "Well no offense but, what makes you so special?" She asked curiously. "Well that is a good question. The reason why I get a discount is because I am so famous. I pay them and they get there clothes line out there." I said.

Layla thought for a minute. "Ya I guess that true. I'm gonna go get out of this dress." Layla said tugging on the long blue dress. Ok so maybe I may have stretched the truth just a little but, Layla was not going to let me buy the clothes unless she knew we would get a good deal.

Layla's POV

We both changed and Zach payed for our things. We walked back to the car. "So where to next?" I asked him as I got into the car. "Well now we are going to get shoes." Zach said starting the car.

"Can I pick the shoe place?" I asked him. He looked at me confused. "Sure just tell me where to go." He said as he pulled out of the parking lot.

30 minutes later

"Really Layla really." He said standing in front of the shoe place I picked out. "What they have the boom shoes here at Payless!" I said pulling him into the store.

I walked him down a aisle with heels. "See here are a bunch of heels that are at a great price and see look." I said pointing at a pair of shoes that were the exact same color as my $500 dress. "And they are my size." I said picking up the box and putting the lid on it.

"Come on now let's find you some." I said taking him to the men shoe aisle. "What size are you?" I asked. "11 but Layla I am telling you I am not gonna find any....Oh these look nice." He said picking some shoes off the shelf. "See and they match your suit." I said crossing my arms.

We stayed in there for a few minute before Zach paid for our shoes. "I can not believe I only paid $30.00 for our shoes." Zach said getting in the car. "See I told you Payless is awesome." I said with a smile. "Next stop the hair salon." Zach said starting the car.

We went to the hair salon and I got a weave. Zach just got his hair washed and styled. Patricia Morales did are hair. She was really nice.

Once we got done at the salon it was 4:00pm. I asked Zach where we were eating but he refused to tell me. I was shocked when we pulled into the Castaways parking lot.

"Zach, how did you know I like Castaways!?" I said shocked "I just do." He said with a smile helping me out of the car.

We walked in and we had a private table away from all the people. Are table was next to the window and we had a great view of the city. "Zach this is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me." I said with a smile. "I am glad you like it." Zach said giving me a kiss.

Dinner was amazing we had sparkling cider, steak, and salad. The night was prefect until we left the restaurant and...

"ZACHARY QUINTO!"

Paparazzi. Two TMZ guys jumped out of nowhere and started to take pictures of us. The light from the camera was so blinding that I almost tripped but Zach caught me before I had a chance to hit the ground. I held on to Zach's arm while he lead me to the car. The guys were asking so many questions.

"Zachary! Who is your friend?" One guy said. "Is she pregnant?" The other one said. We finally made it to the car Zach opened my door and I climbed in quickly. The last question I heard the guy asked before Zach closed my door was "Are you Zach's girlfriend?!" My eyes went wide. Zach quickly got into the car and drove off.

"Are you ok." Zach asked pulling over on the side of the road. "Ya just shaken." I said looking at Zach. "You know after tomorrow that's gonna happen everyday. Are you ready for all that attention." Zach asked me. I put my hand on Zach's cheek. "I've told you before I am ready we are in this together." I said leaning in giving Zach a kiss.

Zach started to drive home.

Everything is going to change tomorrow and I could not be more ready.
